This was a battle where while losing I came back into the game in the final rounds and got an amazing victory. The biggest reason for this was understanding the Ruleset correctly and the strategy that I had planned worked accordingly which gave me a turning point in this battle.

I would call my backline positioned monsters the heroes of this battle. It was a mixed combination of ranged and magic attackers and because of their continuous hits all the enemy units from the frontline to the backline were destroyed and I got an amazing victory.

Let’s understand this 99 mana battle what strategy I adopted and what my monster selection was.

First of all in any battle it is extremely important to understand the Ruleset properly. Today’s 99 mana battle is considered a very high mana battle and in such battles you should select your high mana cost monster cards. The monsters that have high health and high attack power will perform better in this battle.

If there is a lack of such monsters in your deck you may struggle in these types of battles. Therefore it is important to keep a balanced list of monster cards in your deck so that you have flexibility in your selection in every mana battle.

First let’s see which three Rulesets came in this battle what restrictions there were and what advantages were presented in the battle.

RULESET 1 - WEAK MAGIC

The first Ruleset was Weak Magic. Weak Magic is a disadvantage for any magic attacker because all units get the Void Armor ability. With the Void Armor ability magic damage will first hit the armor and only then can it reduce the health.

While under normal circumstances magic damage bypasses the armor and directly hits the health of the monster. But with this ability everything becomes opposite and your magic monster has to destroy the armor first and then it can damage its health.

Therefore keeping this ability in mind it should be understood that you should not select too many magic damage attackers because their main advantage has been restricted by this Ruleset.

Therefore it is better to keep a list of strong melee and ranged attackers.

RULESET 2 - NO MAN'S LAND

The second Ruleset is called No Man’s Land where Humans Archons and units may not be used. This is an important Ruleset where you have to avoid Human race cards.

Your strategy should be to select as many high damage attackers strong tanks and Sneak or Opportunity attackers from your cards as possible so that you can get a good grip in this Ruleset.

RULESET 3 - HEALED OUT

The third Ruleset is Healed Out which is completely opposite to healing. Here units and Archons that have the Restore Health ability lose this ability.

This means that according to this Ruleset all your healers will be ineffective and will not be useful in the battle. Therefore it is important to understand that you cannot select healers in your Archons or any healing unit which is another restriction.

So keeping this Ruleset in mind it is important to consider that instead of a healer you should give preference to monsters with strong armor. If there are high armor and high health monsters in the battle then armor can help you to a great extent.

MY STRATEGY AND TEAM LINEUP

So keeping all these Rulesets in mind what was my strategy and team lineup?

I focused on choosing an Archon with +1 Speed which means that all my allied units would get the +1 Speed ability.

Because this was a 99 mana battle we had a good opportunity for monster selection. We selected our strong tanks with armor health and aggressive abilities. So now it was better to simply increase their speed.

Therefore I chose the Archon ability that only provided Speed.

My frontline monster had Taunt and Void Armor abilities and it was a monster with strong armor and health that could survive in the battle for a long time.

Similarly my secondary monster had the Reach ability which means that while staying in the second position it could still make full use of its melee power.

After that again in the third position I selected another tank monster.

I wanted to use these three monsters as strong defensive tanks so that as many attacks from the enemy units as possible would be drawn toward them.

After that I placed a mixed combination of ranged and magic attackers in my next three monster positions. This meant that my first three frontline monsters would continuously absorb damage while my last three monsters would continue attacking from an aggressive position.

Because of this the enemy units frontline would be destroyed quickly and then in the final rounds it would become easier for me to eliminate the remaining backline monsters

And that is exactly what happened

IN THE BATTLEFIELD

The battle started in a very powerful way. In the beginning my frontline monsters continued to receive heavy damage and my first strong tank monster was destroyed.

After that both of my remaining tank monsters were eliminated which caused me to face a lot of difficulties in the battle.

But this is exactly what we call a comeback.

Because of a great comeback and the excellent performance of my backline monsters I managed to win this battle. In this way my strategy and lineup proved successful.

What would your strategy be in this type of Ruleset and which monsters would you give more preference to? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
