🚀 AMA Recap: Sustainability, Strategy, and What’s Next for Pixels

We’re entering a pivotal phase for Pixels. Several internal developments are ready, but the team is intentionally pacing announcements to ensure the user experience meets a high standard. In a bear market environment, timing and execution matter.

The core belief remains unchanged: if you build something of real value, crypto becomes a powerful mechanism to distribute that value across the protocol and its participants. Pixels has already proven it can build games players love. The current focus is on refining sustainable economic models that support long term growth.

🎭 Community Moments from the AMA

During the session, Heidi spent time in the theater with the community, distributing Quicksilver and UGC items. She also showcased standout UGC creations, including Silverwing’s new fences and the Cursed Lemon Cow.

Heidi later worked through taskboard and animal care activities on lands such as 1470, 178, 179, 1845, 1034, and 1699 while Luke answered questions live.

Key Strategic Discussions

RORS and User Growth

Return on Reward Spend was described as the critical first milestone toward sustainability. With that foundation in place, the focus can now shift toward new user acquisition and onboarding improvements.

Some decline in daily grinder retention is expected. Early phases attracted players focused primarily on extracting as much PIXEL as possible. With the introduction of Stacked, reward distribution can be capped and optimized to prevent a small percentage of users from capturing a disproportionate share of rewards.

Sustainability requires balance. It is not healthy for 1 percent of users to take 50 percent of rewards.
