He messed it up... | Battle Mage Secrets
Hello, splinter-warriors. I hope you all are doing well.

Today, I found a battle that was arguably the shortest one in the Bronze leagues. And, with the SPS value recovering a bit in accordance with the rise in the price of Bitcoins, it just might be back in the $0.025 area.

With all that, I might just reach the Silver Leagues before this season ends. I'm just 250 ratings away from it.

Battle Conditions

The mana cap was 13 and all the summoners were available. The game wanted me to give it my best setup of monsters. Honestly, life summoners make great melee attacks in this low mana cap. Water is good too if you could make the right choices with the monsters pairing with Oshannus. But, I decided to go with Death Summoner.
The battle rules are:
- Up close and personal: Only monsters with melee attacks may be used in battle.

Battle Details

Let's start from my side:
Summoner: Thaddius Brood(Trait: Reduction in HP and magic damage to all enemy monsters).
Melee Attackers: Cursed Windeku(Ability: Thorns), Uraeus(Ability: Sneak).
The strategy was simple. The aim was to use all the chosen monsters to attack. So, I used the best thorns specialist for the case. Next, Uraeus was a good choice in the back as it had a shield so it could take a beating from monsters from the back. Also, with its low mana cost it had an attack of 2 making it more efficient.
My total HP was 12 and 1 shield. My overall damage output was 4. Adding in the thorns ability, it would increase to 6.
Now for the opposition's turn.
Summoner: Lobb Lowland(Abbulity: All enemy monsters have their speed reduced by 1).
Tank: Venari Knifer(Ability: Thorns).
Blocked attackers: Mycelic Morphoid(No Ability).
His aim may be to beat me by decreasing my speed. That way, his Knifer would hit my monsters first and reduce my monsters quickly. he kept his Morphoid in the back to reduce damage coming from the back.

Major Events

In the first round, his "offering" was taken and it turned into a 2 v 1.

At the end of the second round which lasted only 3 turns, the game was over and I merely lost 6 HP.
Results
I don't use such an "overflow in low mana" tactic where people usually fill up their deck with 0 mana monsters or 1 mana monsters while keeping the other ones in the back that usually have a sneak ability. That's why he kept his Morphoid in the back, to adsorb an attack from the back.
