Today, I want to show you guys a bizarre event that I witnessed in today’s battle. This wasn’t the first time it happened though, I saw this phenomenon before too but it was frequently occurring this time.

Usually what we see in this game is that the monsters with higher speed does an attack that is unmissable when delivered against a monster with lower speed. But, there were times when I saw that a monster with a higher speed miss a monster with lower speed. And, the monster with the lower speed didn’t even have the fly ability; it is understandable if the monster with lower speed has fly ability and the opposition melee attackers misses it.

Before we begin, I must mention that the battle link is at the bottom of the post and below is the major part of the gameplay.

Battle Rules

The mana cap was 24. There were 4 summoners available: Fire, Water, Nature, and Life. I was tempted to get Tarsa(level 2) but I chose Obsidian(level 2)because that seemed right at the time.
The battle rule is:

  • Rise of the Common: monsters that were either common or rare could be used.
  • Reverse Speed: monsters with the lowest speed attacks first.

Battle

My Team

M.I.T.F.P(monster in the first position): Fungus Flinger(Ability: Martyr).
Tank: Unicorn Mustang(Ability: Void).
Magic Casters: Goblin Psychic(Ability: Tank Heal), Khmer Princess(No Ability).
Blocked Attackers: Mycelic Morphoid(Ability: Thorns).

My primary concern was stopping any attacks from the back. Since there was Life and Fire summoners available, I took a precaution and kept the Morphoid and Khmer Princess on the back, they would prove to be a good punching bags for the sneak attackers. My Mustang would deal with melee attackers and reduce the damage of Magic attacks all while my Goblin would do a hefty damage and heal my Tank. The ability of of the Fungus would greatly increase the capabilities of the Unicorn Mustang.

Opposition Team

Summoner: Obsidian(level 4).
Tank: Hill Giant(No Ability)(Level 8).
Magic Casters: Mycelic Slipspawn(Ability: Taunt, Forcefield)(level 4), Goblin Psychic(Ability: Tank Heal)(level 5), Khmer Princess(No Ability)(level 1).

He had the cards and the abilities but he didn’t have a strong tank. How did he survive? Look below to find out!

Round 1

The summoner abilities were introduced and the battle was on. The first strike went towards the Mycelic Slipspawn from my Goblin Psychic. The next attack was from his Goblic Psychic, thanks to that my Fungus died and my Unicorn gained that Martyr effect.

The last attack was done by his Slipspawn to my Tank, Unicorn Mustang. His Slipspawn suffered the most while my tank had suffered a bit of damage. His Tank remained untouched though.

The worst part in this whole battle is this, the part I want to highlight. My Unincorn misses the The Hill Giant. The Hill Giant had no flying ability or any ability at all, yet it missed.

Round 2

The first move was made by my Goblin. He healed the tank by 4 HP and he attacked the Slipspawn.

His Goblin made the next turn. Then went both the Khmer Princesses.

And finally, my Unicorn makes contact. The first huge attack made by my tank in 2 rounds.

Round 3

My Goblin went first again. He heals the tank and finally eliminates the Slipspawn.

His Goblin’s turn came along. He heals his tank and attacks mine.

And finally, my Tank misses his Giant again.

Round 4

The whole cycle repeats. My Goblin heals my tank and attacks his, his goblin heals his tank and attacks mine. Both the Princesses gets a turn and does their job.

Without fail, my Unicorn misses his mark again. But, a big disadvantage was implemented his tank was on my Tank. He inflicted an infliction effect and so my Tank could not be healed anymore. Luckily, his tank was in his last HP also. And that’s how the 4th round ended.

Round 5

Thank to the last round, his tank was taken out by my Goblin. Then his Goblin went again and did a damage of 2 to my Tank and down goes the mighty tank. Then came the turns of the Princesses. They went and did a good damage to the new tanks.

Round 6
B0530C02-BC11-4145-9EB0-102C621A713B.jpeg

Both the Goblins were down to 3 HP. And as the saying goes, “Victory to the swift” my Goblin went first. He healed himself and attacks the enemy tank.

My Princess went first and dealt with his.

That way, I won a really annoying and long-drawn game.

Best part, my Tank could be healed by 4 HP and reduce magic attacks by 1. But, even with that advantage it was quite a hassle when a monster with no ability gets the same treatment when it goes against a monster with flying ability.
