Honestly, guys, these first 7 days of the season were where I was confused as to why would I even play this game, I kept losing and wasting the money I invested by buying all these cards.
So, I took a break from playing this and focused on other games like Overwatch 2 with the bois. I should've recorded those sessions because that would've made some amazing content. We played till 1 am and our discord chat was full of energy and humourous jokes.

Meanwhile, the energy was stockpiling next 3 days. So, after the little break, I started to play the game again. This time, I got to play 38 battles and turned around the losing streak into a bull run of victory. But, in all these days I didn't realize that this week's battle mage secrets was out.

So, today, after 2 more days of searching I finally got the battle where the rules are: Equalizer and Going The Distance. The main stuff is the Equalizer part.
Below are the major events in the battle and at the end of the post the battle link.
Without further ado, let's begin.

Battle

The mana cap was 30 and there were 3 summoners to choose from: Nature, Life, and Dragon. I chose Life because I had General Sloan and this one would give me an extra point in damage for all ranged attackers. The rule set also demanded that we use ranged attackers only as well.

My Team

M.I.T.F.P(monster in the first position): Mantoid(Ability: Snipe).
Ranger Attackers: Portal Spinner(Ability: Scattershot), Herbalist(No Ability), Pelacor Arbalest(Ability: Double Strike).
Special Ranged Attacker: Zyriel(Abilities: Weapon Training, Leech).

My strategy was, to delay my leech from coming in the first position while letting the other monsters be in the first position. I let the Arbalest take the second last position even though it did an overall of 6 damage because I valued Zyriel albeit it did a damage of 5. That way, I would get enough HP for Zyriel should it move to the first position. I didn't care much about the other attackers and kinda just laid them there.

Opposition Team

M.I.T.F.P: Goblin Tower(Ability: Blast).
Ranged Attackers: Supple Runner(No Ability), Child Of The Forest(Ability: Snipe).

After seeing this guy's cards I instantly knew that this guy is used to renting cards and somehow his rented cards' time of use was expired and so he had only 3 cards to show up with.

Round 1

The Child Of The Forest went first as it was the only ranged attacker that had the highest speed.

Then the turn of the second fastest character came, the supply runner. It damaged my Mantoid while all my attackers patiently awaited their turn.

The first hit from Zyriel. She took out the shield from the goblin tower. The Arbalest did huge damage to the Goblin Tower and eliminated it.

Screenshot (482).png

My Portal Spinner's attack didn't land a hit but my Herbalist's attack didn't miss its mark.

Round 2

Screenshot (484).png

The first turn went to the opposition's Ranged attacker, and he did good damage on the Portal Spinner. The second turn went to my very precious Zyriel and she did damage of 4 and leeched in a 2 HP.

The golden Arbalest did the rest of the work and deleted the opposition with 2 swift and successive strikes.

It was a very short battle, probably one of the shortest with such few turns on both rounds. It felt good to use Zyriel again because I was one of those idiots who bought it off the shop for its standard value of 80000 DEC, now it's worth $36.5(14/5/23 at 7:15 pm) on the market.
