Hello, Splinter-cells! I hope you are doing well!

I know I'm not. Due to this extreme heat and bad electricity(frequent power outages), one can only maintain their sanity like a fully taut string that is about to snap.

Even with all this, I managed to get back into Silver II, dancing about 1500 and 1350. A week has passed since the new season and I've lost access to most of the rented cards, even the alpha edition ones😕 and that's a-o-kay because I will get them once I'm ready to leave Silver I, again.
I am currently getting chests from the Gold league where I hope to get some legendary cards.

With all that vibes in the atmosphere, let's dive into today's gameplay!

Battle Rules

There were 4 summoners to choose from: Fire, Life, Death, and Dragon. I went with Thaddius Brood, the death summoner, level 4.

The battle rules are:

  • Amplify: Up to Eleven(all monsters have the amplify ability).
  • Fog of War: Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity abilities.

My Team

Tank: Cursed Windeku(Ability: Thorns).
Magic Casters: *Life Sapper(Ability: Leech).
Ranged Attackers: Weirding Warrior(Ability: Shatter).

I thought about replacing the Life Sapped and Weirding Warrior with a Venari Bonesmith and Carrion Shade pair or Ravenhood Warden and Carrion Shade pair but those seemed a bit too simplistic. What if the opponent takes a monster that has Void ability, that way Bonesmith's attack would be negated, or what if the opposition had used a monster that would have Snipe ability? So, in the end, I ended up with 2 behind the scenes attackers that had low HP but high speed.

Opposition Team

Summoner: Tarsa(Ability: +1 Damage and +1 HP to all friendly monsters.
Tank: Living Lava(Ability: Shield).
Magic Caster: Venari Crystalsmith(Ability: Dispel).

He certainly had a strong approach when it came to the subject of dealing with attackers from the front but it came up short on a humongous scale when it came to the matter of speed.

Round 1

Screenshot (674).png

The abilities of the summoners were introduced and the battle was on. My Windeku strikes first and gets 2 damage on the Lava.

Screenshot (675).png

My Leech sucks in 1 HP while giving damage of 2. The Weirding Warrior's attack didn't connect but it caused the rest of the shield on the Lava to collapse.

Screenshot (677).png

The most heartbreaking move for the opposition. This is where the Living Lava misses his mark on the Cursed Windeku.

Round 2

Screenshot (678).png

My Windeku and Weirding Warrior went first and almost deleted the Living Lava.

Screenshot (679).png

His tank was taken out and now the only remaining monster was the Venari Crystalsmith.

Round 3

Screenshot (680).png

Everyone had their chance, this last attack was done moments before the Weirding Warrior.

And finally, in the next round, the Cursed Windeku finishes off the opposition.

Both his monsters had less speed than my monsters and hence, the famous saying, "Victory to the swift" came alive once again.
