The Big 4 In Silver Leagues | Splinterlands X Social Media Challenge
Hello splinter-cells! I hope you are doing well in game and in life.

Source
The heavy hitters in the death summoner’s arsenal has been summoned today. My love for the death summoner keeps increasing as the number of monsters with rebuffs keep piling up.
There are 4 stages to this post:
- Battle Conditions
- Pre-battle Details
- Major Events
- Results
And, at the end of the post of the gameplay. Without further ado, let’s begin!

Battle Conditions

The mana cap is 32. There were 5 summoners available: Fire, Water, Life, Death, and Dragon. For such a medium mana cap, fire, life, water, and death would be perfect should you have the right monsters. I went with the death summoner’s Thaddius Brood. My opponents too went with this summoner.
The battle rules:
- Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the knockout ability.
- Melee Mayhem: All melee monsters can attack from any position.

Pre-Battle Details

Let’s start off with my side:
Tank: Cursed Windeku(Ability: Thorns). This one was upgraded to level 4 and so it has an attack of 3 with a huge HP of 11 and the summoner is capped at level 4 even though I got it to level 6.
Melee Attackers: Arachne Thug(Ability: Reach), Silent Sha-vi(Ability: Sneak), Undead Rex(No Ability), Disintegrator(Ability: Demoralize).
The rules made it so that both me and he could attack from all sides. Hence, I placed my monster with the shield, Disintegrator, in the back and Undead Rex behind Arachne Thug to allow my Rex to do as much damage as possible. Disintegrator would reduce all the melee attacks by 1, with his advantage he would’ve needed more monsters that did high damage. The tank would do a thorn damage when hit and the Arachne Thug that does a generous damage on their tank.
The damage from melee attackers are 13. Considering a thorns ability, we get an overall of 15 damage. No increase in HP this time.
Now, it’s the Opposition’s side:
Tank: Cursed Windeku(Ability: Thorns). This one was upgraded to level 2 with a good HP of 10.
Melee Attackers: Karklaw(Ability: Shield), Corpse Fiend(No Ability), Silent Sha-vi(Ability: Sneak), Crypt Beetle(Ability: Shield).
Magic Attackers: Magi Necrosi(Ability: Snipe, Camouflage).
His strategy was to attack with numbers. Hence, he the placed the Corpse Fiend in the back and the Sha-vi in the middle. That way, his Sha-vi, with his high speed, would be able to attack early into the round and not come in front. The tank would do a thorn damage when hit and the Harklaw, when it would come in the tank’s position, it would be able to reduce damage from my monsters. His Crypt Beetle placement was good but it had low shield and HP.
The damage from melee attackers are 9 and from magic attacker is 2. So, a grand total of 11. Considering a thorns ability, we get an overall of 13 damage with no increase in HP.
Now, if we deal with the debuff, he would have a reduced damage on melee and magic attackers. So, his overall melee damage output would be 6 and from magic attackers is 1. Therefore, a total of 7 and the thorns would make it 9. He had no chance from the get go it seems.

Major Events
Round 1

The game began at the 6th turn with the Necrosi attacking my tank. Then his Sha-via and then finally, my tank. He got that thorn damage, as expected.

Half the round passed, his tank fell flat. A bit early than expected but it happened thanks to my Undead Rexx, it’s judgement slam was too powerful.

And finally, his Harklaw was de-shielded by the end of the first round. Considering it could reduce the enemy attacks, it’s HP was going to be reduced further in the next round. His Corpse Fiend had charged my Windeku but could not withstand the thorn damage hence it got eliminated for its own action.
Round 2

The round began with a bang from his Necrosi, then the Sha-vi. And then my Windeku. It landed a huge hit on the Harklaw.

And finally, after Arachne Thug’s attack the Undead Rex passed his judgement slam onto the Harklaw and thus eliminated it. It was now a 4 v 3.

The last attack was delivered by my Disintegrator. It did a generous damage of 2.
Round 3

Sadly, before him Sha-vi attacked, his Necrosi did and took the only HP my tank had hence it couldn’t do a last Thorns damage. So, all of their damage was focused on the Arachne Thug. The damage output was 10 to 4, a 6 advantage on my side.

And the next thing you know, my Rex slammed his judgement again and deleted the Necrosi after my Arachne Thug eliminated the Sha-vi.

And finally, my Disintegrator took out the Beetle, ending a one-sided match.
Results
We both knew the power of this summoner. If I were to have Sha-vi, I could’ve reduced his numbers from the back within ground 3. But, this way too I finished him off at the 3rd round. This was a satisfactory end for me, knowing that my monsters did what I wanted them to do.

Thank you guys for reading this far, I hope you enjoyed the gameplay. See you legends on the next one!
