This battle has a few key parts that need to be addressed. With the season coming to an end I finally have the RP rewards increased by a fold of 4 with the rating rewards increased as well. I dread the upcoming season as I believe that I won't be able to get much out of it.

The Remedy

I rented a bunch of cards that should help avert those outcomes.

I rented Ant Miner for 20 days only at a price of 6.38 DEC. This monster and the card helped me get additional RP rewards when I used it through Tarsa. This monster has the ability to scavenge and does a damage of 2. Pair it up with Tarsa and you get a monster that would have a melee damage of 3 with the ability to scavenge.

I rented one of the most used cards, for me, through the summoner: Obsidian, Unicorn Mustang. This was comparatively a bit expensive. I rented this for 20 days for 134.78 DEC.

I wanted to rent another monster from the nature summoner's arsenal but saw that it was cheap and could be bought for a measly amount, so I bought it. It was the Bramble Pixie and I got it for $0.82(Level 1).

This next card I don't use all that much but I would prefer to keep it because this one somehow costs a bit higher than I thought it would, it was the Khmer Princess. I rented it, as usual, from the nature summoner's arsenal for 10 days and got it for 26.71 DEC.

Without further ado, let's hop into the game.

Battle

The mana cap was 18 and there were 2 summoners to choose from: Life and Nature. We all know that the monsters under the Life summoner costs high mana so that was out of question. Hence, I chose Obsidian.

The rules of battle: No melee monsters allowed.

My Team

M.I.T.F.P(monster in the first position): Fungus Flinger(Ability: Martyr).
Magic Casters: Regal Peryton(Ability: Fly), Goblin Psychic(Ability: Tank Heal)

The strategy was: to sacrifice the Fungus get my Peryton have the highest HP and speed while my Goblin Psychic would heal it from the back and do a number on the enemy.

Opposition Team

M.I.T.F.P: Failed Summoner(Ability: Magic Reflection).
Blocked Non Attacker Attacker: Chaos Agent(No Ability).
Magic Caster: Venari Spellsmith(Ability: Dispel), Khmer Princess(No Ability), Regal Peryton(Ability: fly).

His strategy was good. First he wanted to reduce my HP through the magic reflection. When that was over he wanted to waste some of my turn on the Chaos Agent while damaging my M.I.T.F.P. His strategy would’ve worked if not for my Fungus and Goblic Psychic. Since my Fungus in the first position, it absorbed the damage and gave the martyr effect to the Peryton, increasing his HP, speed and magic damage.

Round 1
Screenshot (447).png

The summoner abilities were introduced and the battle was underway. My Peryton went first. She did 2 damage on the Failed Summoner and it returned the damage back to Peryton.

Screenshot (448).png

Their Peryton does a 2 damage on my Fungus.

Screenshot (450).png

The Fungus was taken out and my Peryton attained the benefits. The Goblic Psychic heals up Peryton and finished off the Failed Summoner. It reflected the damage I had given it.

Round 2

Screenshot (452).png

My Peryton strikes first and eliminated the Chaos Agent.

Screenshot (454).png

The Venari Spellman does a 2 damage on the Peryton and it’s dispel ability cleared the martyr effect on the Peryton.

Screenshot (455).png

Finally, the Goblin strikes the Spellman while healing itself back to full HP.

Round 3

Screenshot (456).png

The Peryton strikes first and does a 2 damage on the Goblin.

Screenshot (457).png

The Princess does her work and finally it was my Goblin’s turn. It self-heals and eliminates the Princess.

Round 4

Screenshot (458).png

The Peryton goes first again.

Screenshot (459).png

The Goblin self-heals while preparing to do a damage of 3. The best thing about this magic damage is that the monsters do not miss. Even with this wide difference in speed and the fly ability of Leryton, it still suffers a damage .

Screenshot (460).png

And finally, after his Peryton strikes first, my Goblic self-heals and deals the finishing blow.

This battle’s set of rules made it seem like there was no adverse rules and that it was a simple match. The summoners got their ability through to their monsters, the monsters did not lose their ability and legendary cards can be used. It was my extreme luck that the opponent did not have any Gladius cards. That way this battle was even more straight forward.
