Hey Splinter-cells, I hope you are doing well.

After the last little mishap in the last Battle Mage Secrets where I almost ran out of time to post, I have now resorted to storing my gameplays in my notes XD. So, after I see the requirement for any event, I turn to the notes without fail and find out the game which matches the requirement.

” We never get what we want when we want” - allama 2023

Now, I have found a way to not let that happen. Today, I have a battle worthy of sharing and that matched with the requirement of the weekly Battle Mage Secrets.

Without further ado, let’s begin!

Battle

This battle was taken not from the usual battle section. This was taken from the Guild Brawls.

The mana cap is 15 and the only 1 summoner available for the battle is Death. Now, I didn’t go with Contessa Lament because my monsters’ true level wouldn’t be shown even though it was a low mana battle, and Thaddius would decrease the HP of all enemy monsters by 1.

The rules of the battle were: No healing Abilities, No Protection(shield), and Earthquake(nonflying monsters would get -2 HP after each round).

My Team

M.I.T.F.P(Monster In The First Position): Chaos Agent.
Attackers: Silent Sha-vi(Ability: Sneak).
Non-attackers: Riftwing(Ability: Scavenge, Fly).
Blocked Attackers: Carrion Shade(Ability: Fly).

My plan was: to make my Sha-vi take out the enemy attackers from the back while the Chaos Agent would delay the Sha-vi from coming in the first position. My Carrion Shade would evade enemy attacks while protecting my true monster, the Riftwing. This would survive all the attackers. The only plot hole is if the opponent had a monster that would do melee damage and had the Fly ability, that would’ve ensured my defeat.

Opponent Team

Summoner: Astral Entity(Abilities: -2 Armour for all opposition monsters, Dodge, Ressurection)
M.I.T.F.P: Chaos Agent(Non-attacker).
Non-attacker: Riftwing(Ability: Scavenge, Fly).
Blocked attacker: Carrion Shade(Ability: Fly).
Ranger attacker: Whistling Damon(Ability: Snipe, Bloodlust).

A good strategy, delaying the ranged attacker from coming in front. But, my Sha-vi tarnished all of this plan.

Round 1

The summoners’ abilities were implemented and the battle was underway. The number of turns needed for all the monsters in the deck to attack was not more than 4.

My Sha-vi eliminated the Whistle Damon but his summoner resurrected it. The ability could be used once in a battle for one monster.

Round 2

Earthquake strikes and eliminated the majority of the monsters in the battle.

It took a total of 10 turns to scavenge all the HP by the Riftwings.

The last turn went to the Sha-vi that dealt 3 damage to the Riftwing, reducing it from 9 to 6.

My Sha-vi missed his mark in the 3rd round and gets an Earthquake damage.

Round 4

The Sha-vi missed his mark again not the last time. The earthquake hits and takes out my Sha-vi.

Both Riftwings take in the HP.

From then on, the rounds went by swiftly. Since no party attacked and had the fly ability, nobody suffered any damage from the Earthquake.

Round 21

Everyone received fatigue damage. His Carrion Shade was taken out, and the Riftwings scavenged the HP and were standing tall, as if nothing happened.

Round 22

This round, my Carrion Shade bit the dust as the fatigue damage had risen to -2 HP. Both Riftwings scavenged the HP and they were hit by fatigue, so they had a net -1 HP.

Round 23

C769C760-0FAF-4869-9EBB-BC8FDF93564D.jpeg

The fatigue tick had risen to -3 HP. Both Riftwings are still in the game. But, we can see that was about to happen. The long staring contest was coming to an end.

Round 24

46FEBE00-F3CC-4A83-A0D9-81474867FFDE.jpeg

The fatigue has risen to -4 HP. The opponent’s Riftwing ran out of HP while mine still had 3 HP left.

This battle was the longest one I’ve had in Splinterlands without a doubt. If you guys have such battles, be sure to give me the links in the comment below.
