Chaos Legion General Sale: Opening 200 Packs

Well that time is finally upon us. The day of the Splinterlands Chaos Legion General Sale is here.

The General Sale was off to an explosive start with over 1 million packs sold within the first few minutes with thousands of players accessing the store page to secure their packs. Surprisingly, well maybe not surprisingly to some, the website was able to handle this load quite well.

Today I will be opening 200 Chaos Legion Packs with both potions used. I will keep a record of the quantity of cards I pull in regular foil and gold foil variants in a table at the end. Let the "push and shove" gods be in my favour.

I was pretty happy with the first pack that I opened. 4 Rares including a Summoner. I have always struggled to get enough Summoner cards to level them up to be able to play my monster cards.

It wasn't long after the first pack that I pulled my favourite card in the Chaos Legion set. Grund. I was fortunate enough to pull him in Gold Foil as well.

Now there was a long pause. I wasn't pulling much more than your 4 Commons and 1 Rare standard pack for a while. I was a little concerned that my luck was running low and and I was going to be stuck with some dud packs when this shining light came. My first Gold Foil Legendary Adelade Brightwing.

It would only be two packs later when I would pull my second Legendary Gold Foil, Djinn Muirat. Inside a pretty decent pack alongside an Epic, two Rares and a Common.

This is up there for my luckiest pull of the run with not one but two Legendary cards inside. Accompanied by an Epic, Rare and Common.

This is the collection of card statistics from the 200 Chaos Legion packs that I opened with both Legendary and Alchemy potions used.

I was pretty happy the number of Legendary and Gold Foil Legendary cards that I pulled but I feel like the number of Gold Foil cards in total was on the lower end. I will compare this with the next pack opening that I do.
