Accumulating Splintershards (SPS) for Long-Term

If you are a player or investor in the splinterlands game and not don't hold the SPS then probably you are missing a great opportunity. Its not financial advice but in this post, I am sharing my thoughts on SPS and why its a good idea to invest in it. I am bullish on SPS tokens since the beginning because I believe in the token economy so I kept on accumulating. Earlier I had the gold to have 50000 in my account but later on, I decided to increase it further and finally doubled the number to 100k in total.

While I have been accumulating the sps tokens, I also got a couple of opportunities with my holding. The first benefit that I have got in terms of the voucher token is a bonus for holding the SPS token. Although we earn an Apr of 28% approx as of now and it was very high at the beginning which started with 500% approximately. This APR kept on reducing because when more people hold the to comes then apr will reduce automatically. Even now the apr is pretty good and every day I claim vouchers as well as SPS tokens.

I have recently purchased a node license and I earn 4 vouchers along with 22 SPS tokens in a day. I deposit all these tokens every day to my state and this is helping me to increase my overall SPS holding. Currently, I am holding more than 73l sps tokens so still my goal is 27k away. I was not able to buy in the last few weeks because I invested a good amount in the packs but it seems like now I need to get back to this again. I was able to buy a very good amount of to come even in the month of October when there were a couple of events by the splinterlands team. The upcoming reward for GLX is another excitement in the game and this is the reason why I believe I need to buy more sps to reach my goal as fast as possible. The current price is less than $0.06 and this is very low but I think it is a good opportunity to buy.

I am happy with my holding but I do not want to stop here unless I accomplish the goal. The current apr is better if we compare it with the traditional investment options where we hardly earn about 6 to 8%. Even the banks are paying about 6-7% approximately on the deposits. This is why I do not want to invest in banking options rather Crypto is a better option where I can a much more than what these traditional options offer.

SPS speaking apr key on fluctuating from time to time and a few months back it was almost 40% which was increased from 30% apr. This has reduced but I expect that it will grow again once there is a good demand in the market. There are many proposals in the place where the team is rewarding the players who different ways and I believe this way more tokens are distributed to the community. I know that the higher distribution is also not good for the price stability but I believe that the team is available and they will do something that is going to be the best for all of us. They have also planned things in such a way that the burn will happen for the SPS and license is one of the biggest things that contribute to the burn of SPS tokens.

I am expecting that with the upcoming airdrop they will be an increase in the demand for tokens and the launch price of GLX tokens will also play an important role in the SPS demand. I did not expect that SPS will be launched with almost a $1 price mark but it happened and because of this reason many people purchased Dec tokens at that time. Now when SPS is going to be the game changer for the upcoming airdrop so if the price will be good then I expect a lot of people will be buying SPS to get the benefit of the airdrop.

Holding SPS is not just good for the investment but also it is providing many earning opportunities and this is the reason why I will continue to accumulate and hold it for the long term. I want to stay focused on SPS as of now and achieve my 100k goal as soon as possible. This is also a good source of passive income and many earning opportunities down the line.
