Buying and Opening Gladius Packs

Brawl is a fun part of the splinterlands game, and we can earn nice rewards if we play it regularly. The only requirement is to join a nice guild and based on ranking one can earn SPS along with merits. I play Brawl consistently without a maze and enjoy the reward which comes in the form of SPS and merits. SPS is something that we all would like to have as much as possible and merits can be used to buy Gladius booster packs. Gladius is a powerful edition in the game and these cards are soul-bound hence we cannot read in the market, but we have the option to burn against the Dec token. If you play these cards in the game, then you will realise how powerful these cards are and a good collection from Gladius can also empower the overall gaming.

It's been almost 10 days since I used all my merits to buy a Gladius pack and in between I got rewarded twice for merits. It's better to buy Gladius packs with whatever merits I have however earlier I was not regular and because of that, I had accumulated almost 100K plus merits. Now I am very active on this part and try to buy these Gladius packs frequently whenever I see some balance of merit lying in my account. I have accumulated merit rewards from the last 2 brawls seasons and now today I am going to use it all to buy Gladius packs.

Bought Gladius Packs

I have over 14k merits and the cost of 1 Gladius pack is 2k merits. With this balance, I can buy seven Gladius packs and I hope that it is going to be a great opening as the last one was not good in terms of reward and maybe that was not a lucky day for me. Usually, I expect to get some legendary or if not legendary then at least some gold foil. In the last two pack openings I did not get any gold foil and legendary and this time I am hopeful. Four options can be purchased using merits but I'm not eligible to go for power stones because it requires level eight and above which I don't have but out of this all I prefer to go with Gladius case packs.

As of now, I have zero packs in my account and with the cost of 2000 merits per pack, I can go ahead and buy seven packs. I made the purchase and it was successful.

Now the balance reflects in the account that I have seven packs and it is time for me to open these packs to figure out what cards I will get out of these seven Gladius packs.

Opening Packs

I prefer opening all the packs in one go rather than going one by one because that takes time. With all pack options, I can check out all the packs in one go and it is the method that I follow and prefer doing all the time. Even when I need to open up the reward then also, I prefer to reveal all to get all the cards opened as soon as possible because I don't think there is any point in spending more time going one by one and clicking manually.

Here is what I have received out of these seven packs and in total I have got 35 cards from Gladius Edition. It's a good day for me because I have got one legendary card along with two gold foil as well. As always legendary is something that everyone wants and I'm happy to have this card. The addition of two gold files is also pretty good out of which one is the range attack card and another is with magic.

I have also got three Quora and now I can upgrade my Quora further to the next level. Quora Towershead is one of the most powerful cards in this edition and getting 3 more cards is good. This an epic card and highly powerful and good to use in high mana battles as it comes with a 10 mana cost. Apart from these powerful cards, I have also got some rear cards which are good to have in the game.

It was a good day for me and I am happy to open these 7 packs today because the outcome is excellent and I have got valuable cards out of these packs. I'll be labelling up my cards as I plan to grow my account and level up the existing cards to the higher levels. I am also increasing my SPS holding so that I can play in Diamond One League with the maximum reward multiplier but to be there I have to wait for some more time because building SPS holding is going to be a time-consuming process.

There are multiple assets in the game and accumulating more assets including a token is a good idea now is the best time to do this. I also have other assets apart from the cards including land and a validator licence which is helping me get some sps tokens every day. All the tokens I get as part of the reward are added to my steak which earns almost 13% of APR and helps me to get a better season and reward.
