Chaos & Rebellions Pack Prices in Market

This time we have the ongoing presale for rebellion packs in the shop. The shop is the internal market for the splinterlands and this is where we can get some designated assets however once the supply is exhausted then the assets are taken out from the shop section. For example, now we have rebellion packs listed in the shop along with the last mini edition riftwatchers. The Chaos Legion edition has already been taken out of the shop and it was done a long back when the supply was exhausted. There is a difference between the 3rd party market and our shop within the game website.

Now we have to pack editions available in the shop and the price for both types of packs is $5 which can be paid in DEC. This is the standard price but yes we do have some other components to consider including the bonus that we get if we buy at least 100 packs and now with Rebellion since the pre-sale is ongoing that also brings some additional benefits.

I was checking the prices for these packs in the hive-engine marketplace and was surprised to see that people are selling over there for quite low prices. I don't understand why people are selling even the rebellion packs at low prices. Probably this can be one of the reasons why people are buying these packs through DEC and they were able to get the tokens at discounted prices but I am not sure.

Here is the chart for rebellion packs and you can see that the price is less than $3 and I am surprised how come a newly launched pike can be sold at this price when it is available for $5 in the shop. I don't understand but I think it's a good opportunity for anyone to buy if you are not concerned about the future airdrops. If you will be buying the packs from the shop in-game account then you will be eligible for the future airdrops and that can surely be a valuable reward that you will be getting. Surely this is something we should not be missing out but if you are not concerned about the airdrop and of course the promotional benefits will not be available for long since the sale is going to be over in two weeks.

Third-party market can be a good option to buy these packs if you are someone who wants to buy the pack and hold it for the long term. You can also transfer these packs to your game account and open them if you want so the only benefit that you'll be missing if you are buying in bulk is to get bonus and upcoming airdrops.

Chaos Legion prices in Hive Engine

Now let's also have a look at the price for the Chaos Legion pack which is the biggest version in the game and even Rebellion did not get that much total supply. Rebellion was one of the fantastic launches in the year 2021 and I have seen the time when it was sold out in very little time. This was also because it was bull run time in the market and people had enough money to buy but even now when the market sentiments are not good but is still we can see the community's excitement with the rebellion presale.

Coming back to the point of price for Chaos Legion you can see in the snapshot that the price is quite low. Its $0.73 as of now and let me tell you that chaos packs were sold at the $4 price mark.

I have more than 600 Chaos Legion packs with me and I have been holding these packs for the long term because I believe things can be better. Undoubtedly the current price is too low in the market and not the right time to sell because it is going to be a loss-making decision. I don't prefer to open packs for cars because it is random and I don't know what cards I will be getting and this is the reason why I prefer to buy cards from the market because this way I can decide what cards I need to have in my account.

Now it's up to you that how you will prefer to buy using the in-game account or the third-party marketplace. Both have their pros and cons and accordingly, you can decide which one is good for you if you are planning to buy the packs. I think this is something that one can decide as per the preference and it is subjective because maybe I like Airdrop but some people might not like the air drops and they might prefer to have carts at a low price rather than waiting for airdrops etc. I shared what are the prices available for both in the hive-engine market but I hope the price for Chaos improves as its low.
