Conqueror Jacek Gold Foil Airdropped
Airdrop is a very common and popular word in the cryptocurrency market and everyone wants to have as much as they can because this is free money Bart it brings a lot of value. Splinter land he's one after project where I have been investing for quite some time find I did buy more than 600 packs from the chaos Legion. Today is the day when 10 million packs are sold out from chaos legion print of edition and splinterlands has done the airdrop for the next summoner airdrop. This is a fire summoner in CL and the name is Conqueror Jacek.
I am lucky to get the gold foil card for the first time and its value is almost $200 as of now. I am not sure if price will increase or decrease but as of, now the current value is pretty good. getting a card worth 2 100 dollars as airdrop is something that can make anyone happy and I am happy to have this card. Jacek costs 6 mana and comes with 3 benefits as a summoner. It will provide +2 speed to all friendly monsters, and scattershot, and piercing ability at the beginning of the battle. The one I have received is level 2 gold foil and to upgrade it highest I would need 3 more cards. The maximum level is 4 which can be upgraded with four cards in total. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it because the cost is too high and buying three cards for $600 is not possible for me rather I will think prefer to invest in more cards in standard foil.
I wanted to buy 1000 packs from Chaos legion edition but till now I have done only 601 packs in total. I am left with 399 packs to buy so that I can reach the milestone of 1000 pack purchase. I also bought 100 packs from rift watchers this month and many other cards along with buying sps from the market. Because I have invested funds in various assets in the game so it is not possible for me to buy any more packs this month at least. I will see if it is possible for me to buy more packs next month earned if I do then will surely try to go with the bonus option so that I can get some additional back.
There are so many things to buy in splinterlands as of now and I also wanted to buy one SPS Node Validator license in the previous tranche but I was not lucky enough. I had a plan that if the SPS price increased then I will buy the license but before this happens, all the licenses from tranche 1 got sold. Sometimes things do not go the way we want and this time the same happened with me in splinterlands. I still have the plan to buy the license but because the price has increased so I am short of funds. I need some time to arrange the funds and then only I can buy the license. There are so many licenses available in the market as of now and I will try to buy one as early as possible. It may take a few weeks probably but I am not sure how many as of now.
I have almost 60k staked SPS and its earning 33.12% APR as of now that is including the SPS and voucher tokens. This has dropped now as 1 week back it was almost 40%. I get less SPS daily now but it's okay because and the APR keeps on fluctuating. Splinterlands has run 3 pre-sale in this month and because I am short of funds so not possible to buy all for me but I still managed to buy RW packs. I still need to think about SPS because my goal remains the same and its 100k. This month I did buy a good amount of SPS and kept it in liquid form so that I can use it to buy a license. There is another way to buy using hive from hive-engine and if this is a better option then I will keep a tab on this if I get better pricing.

Congratulations on that amazing card. It certainly is an impressive beast for battles with decent mana. I am finding it hard to figure out where to allocate funds to in Splinterlands also; all these sales, not enough cash!
Thanks mate. Its a great card and that too in gold foil which is expensive and I am glad to have it. It's the first time when I got a GF airdrop.
At least with Riftwatchers coming; there'll be more chances - but, to get a $200 card airdropped, will be tough to see that happen too often. Being a summoner really gave that card an awful lot of value, eh?
I also think the same that with RW there is high possibility to get better cards airdrop and it's because of low supply. Getting a card that it worth $200 is really big and I got it for the first time. Did you buy rw packs mate?
I did, but in a cheat kind of way.
I purchased them on the secondary market, picked up 120 at an average price of 6.88 swap.hive. I was asleep during the sale, but wasn't sure I was going to buy - and I suppose, given the voucher cost and sps made the packs about 6 bucks, I felt getting them at nearly half that on secondary market was my small win. I had to sell my PLOT though to really stack up, gambling on a few nice gold foils to balance things out.
But, if RW sells out the other 2.4 million pack in minutes - these might be worth a small fortune on the secondary market, in which case, I might sell them, buy my plot back and then pick and choose what cards to buy on the market.
Either way, I can't see myself losing too badly - need to average 70 cents per card pulled. I can't see that being too far out of the question.

Congratulations. I am seriously disappointed with my airdrop chances. I had 500 packs for the last 3 airdrops and I didn't get a single card from them. The chance of this is less than 1% and I am seriously shocked to see this happen.

100k is huge amount and it's a great plan it seems. I am stuck at 60k for last few weeks but will try to grow it soon. I think the date for the AirDrop has not been announced yet. Right?
