GLX and GLUSD Added to buy Credits in Splinterlands

It is always good to add more tokens/coins in the list that can be used to buy splinterlands assets and various tokens including credits because this way the use case of coins gets increased. More use cases mean we can expect better value in the market because people would be able to use it for multiple things which I think is a good option. Recently splinterlands team has added the option to use GLX and GL USD in splinterlands and it can be used to buy credits in the game. This is the same as we can use HBD or high and even any other crypto coins listed on the page.

GLX is the governance coin for Genesis League and its price is dropped because of the higher distribution to people but I believe it is just a matter of time. Now since the game has been launched and this will also increase the use case down the line so it is going to add more value. I have been accumulating this token as well because I believe being a part of the governance and it is going to be much more valuable than it is now.

GLX and GLUSD Addition

Here if I'm trying to buy credits then I get a bunch of coins to be used for payment and this also includes GLX and GLUSD. All the leading coins are available here for purchase and good to see that these two coins are also added to the same list which means now we have got more options to use these coins if we wish to and we can buy stuff in the splinterlands game. I just tried it doing far credits and I hope that this use case will continue to expand over time because this way the team is trying to give more utility to the token and probably that will also increase the demand in the market.

It is always good to have more options to choose from in the crypto market because people have different coins holding and if they get the option to use the same and buy assets then it is quite convenient rather than swapping it to another point and then going for the purchase which is not just time taking but slightly inconvenient as well. The swear process also requires some transaction fee or cost so it is better to avoid it straight transactions can be a good idea which the team has done here and I appreciate their move to make it more convenient.

I have checked the options in different assets as well but as of now both the tokens can be used to buy credits only and for SPS or DEC this option has not been added yet. we can buy different tokens within the game account including sps and dec and for that also we have got a bunch of options to choose from but GLX and GLUSD are still not part of that. maybe this can be added later but I expect that both the coins should be added as payment options for the purchase of SPS and DEC in the game. with this addition, I expect that the demand for both the token will increase since it is going to increase the utility as well and I look forward to seeing that happening soon.

I have my glx holding which is deposited and earning an APR of almost 70% so I'm not going to sell anything because the current price is very low. I plan to build a similar holding as I did with SPS in the Genesis League game as well I expect there also can be a good value appreciation over time and probably the next bull cycle is going to be the right opportunity to see that happening. The splinterlands team is quite innovative and they keep on doing something that is required for the community and this is what makes them different. this is an expected feature and they have done it before the community asks for it and I believe for SPS and DC also there should be something in place that may come all of a sudden so stay tuned and maybe that can be another surprise by the team itself.

These days the price for SPS is going down because of the marketing fact I believe and again I am trying to be active since this can be a good opportunity when I would be able to pack a bigger amount but not sure if the price is going to stay here or it is going to drop further. I am going to keep a close eye on the price to see how it moves further so that if there is a better buying range then I can make a buy and grab this better buying deal to increase my overall sps holding in the game account since it is much more useful and important now.
