My Riftwatchers Journey and future strategy

Buying booster packs can be a good idea for different reasons including if we want to hold for the long term and sell when the price is increased which usually happens but not recently. I did buy some packs from the untamed edition and later on, its value increased significantly. Another reason can be to open the packs and see what cards we have got because sometimes we end up opening the pack and getting some legendary or powerful card out of it. Opening the packs is a fun activity and I like doing it from time to time but we should not expect that the card we want will come out of it Instead if you want to have some cards then better to buy from the market.

We cannot be dependent upon the pack opening to get the cards that we want and in that case market is the best option but yes if you are looking for something valuable or the legendary cards out of the packs then it is a good idea to go for. We can have some legendary portions in account before going for the pack opening and in most of the cases people get nice cars out of the packs but again it is not guaranteed. I hold some packs of a few editions and did not open them because I invested for the long term.

I bought 110 packs during the previous sale which was part of the promotion but I was not lucky enough to get the promotional card. By the time I was able to execute the transaction the threshold was completed so I was not part of that but then I did not cancel the order and thought of continuing with the same however I had the option to cancel and ask for a refund because there was some glitch that time. The total supply is 3 million for this mini edition and after the sale of every 500k packs, the airdrop cards will be released to the eligible holders. My current buying is not enough to make me eligible for future airdrops and I'm not sure whether I'll be able to buy more for the eligibility in the next airdrop because the requirement is going to be 250 packs if I buy another 200 somehow then I can be eligible to get the airdrop for next 3 cards.

I have not decided about it but maybe I'll check if I can make it so I'll do some calculations at my end and decide if I want to go further or not. So far three cards have been released as part of the airdrop including the one that was part of the promotion and there are three more that will be released later based on pack sales. earlier there was an option to buy the pack using SPS only however later on DEC was added to be used for payment. Even after these, we did not see any bigger change here but maybe it is too early to conclude However I can see that there is already one proposal from the team and they have proposed to burn the pack. I support the proposal they will be burning out 15K packs every day till the time the supply is lost and because of this burn event, airdrops will be happening faster.

RW buying through DEC

The per riftwatchers pack cost is $5 and with DEC there can be some discounted deals as DEC is not in the peg range. As of now, we can buy 1000 DEC for $0.80 and this way there is a discounted pricing of approximately 20% and let me tell you that its not less. if I decide to buy 200 packs then I will be required to pay one million DEC tokens and the value of these will be approximately $803 as per the current market rate. Nosins we know the price of one pack is $5 so for 200 packs I need to pay $1000 but using this token I can get it at a discount of 20% approximately. Also if I go with 200 packs then I will be getting a 10% bonus as part of the promotion. that means I will end up buying two 20 packs in total for the price of 200 and this way if I consider one pack costing $4 and another $80 is my benefit if I go with the purchase of two hundred packs in one shot.

As I mentioned if I buy 200 packs then the payable amount in DEC would be 1 million. I have not decided as of now whether I'll be buying or not but seems like it is a good deal for anyone who is trying to buy because one can easily get a twenty percent discount on the price along with the additional benefit of approximately 0.80 dollars. This way for Justice $720 we can get the inventory which is worth 1100 dollars.

Rebellion edition launch is far away because there is no update as of now that when we are going to have it so in the only pack we have in the market is going to be the rift watchers which is currently available. I have never gone through this type of calculation before but if there is no spike in DEC price then for sure it is a good deal and worth going for because for 200 packs, I can get benefits of $280 as per the current market and even I will be eligible for the airdrop. I will try to see if I can do it or not but this time since hive price is low so I might have to wait for some time.
