Rebellions are Around

It's a great news for Splinterland community that the sale is finally live for rebellion booster packs, and it's been sold out by almost 50%. It's been almost 12 hours and within this time close to 250k booster packs are sold out and I believe this is a big number for a pre-sale event. The presale is going to continue for 30 days which means we have the opportunity to buy as many as cards possible and get the benefit of promotional offerings that is really good. With promotional sales we get some additional benefits and likewise this time also we have got two promotional cards that will be given if we meet the eligibility criteria and there is not any other condition to follow.

Rebellion is the latest edition of booster pack by splinterlands game, and this is a 96-card set. Many new things are introduced with this version of packs including the dual element and some fantastic abilities of course that will make the game experience amazing. It is a common practise that with every new addition some new abilities are introduced, and this new addition creates excitement in the game but this time the dual element concept is just amazing I believe because we do not have it in the game as of now.

Rebellion Pre-Sale

Now since the sale is live and it is launched with the countdown of 30 days and this timer is on as you can be in below snapshot. I have always seen that the presale creates next level excitement in the game and once again the same was visible after the sale going live because lot of people who are buying packs in bigger quantity and this is why the half of the quantity is sold out in less than 12 hours. This is a good thing and I believe as a community we should be happy that people still believe that the game has got potential, and they are going to bring much more on the plate that we will be enjoying in this game.

We have seen the assets losing its value in the past but hopefully this will not be happening further and whatever is available now will be gaining its value once the market situation improves. Another factor that I liked a lot that they did not increase the price for the rebellion packs because it is common that every time, they launch a new pack the price is increased by $1. Good that they did not do this which is why it's a plus for the community that they can buy the pack for the same price as the last one.

Promo Cards

With presale we always get the opportunity to get some promotional card as benefit and this time also we have the same however it is improved. It's because this time they have two cards on the list so if you buy 10 booster packs then you'll be getting a rear card and if you buy one hundred packs minimum then you are confirmed to get one legendary card. I remember that in the last two editions including Chaos Legion and Rift Watchers they had only one card which was legendary but this time they made some changes which is good because anyone buying more than ten packs will be eligible to get something extra.

Both cards are quite strong and getting a bunch of abilities to be used in the game. It's worth getting both the cards in the game to make it better and I will see if I can buy it from the market once it is launched and available to buy in third party marketplace.

I bought Packs

I also bought 10 packs as of now, but I'll see if I can buy more because I was not able to buy more DEC in advance and the price was increased. Because this sale is going to be ongoing for almost a month so I will see if I can buy more. I mostly buy these packs to hold for the long term because I believe buying packs to get some cards that I want is not the right approach because we do not know what cards we are going to get. I still hold my purchase from Chaos Legion and Rift watchers. I know that the price has gone down, but this could be a temporary situation and things will improve overtime so I'm waiting for that and maybe with rebellion also the value appreciation can be seen once the market is in better state and there are lot of people coming to the game.

This is how the leaderboard is looking like and these top six people have purchased a bigger quantity of packs in the game. I bought only 10 and my rank is triple 4 but it has nothing to do with because I will be getting just one promotional card as per my eligibility and I am happy with that because I can focus on it later when I have enough funds with me.

I think it is worth to buy these bags if you are a player in the game or planning to experience the change that has been introduced with different abilities and dual elements. These cards will be available in the market once the option to open package neighbourhood so if in case you are not able to buy the pack now then you have the option to buy the cards from the market and every time I do it. I was able to buy a lot of cards from the chaos lead generation from the market and upgraded most of my cards to level 5 and 6. It's going to be exciting when the pack opening will be enabled, and I look forward to that which I hope will be done soon. The official release for the rebellion package due to happen on 5th of December.
