So Bots are out now from Modern Format

Finally, the change has been implemented in the game after the proposal approval and it seems that the players are happy who were not expecting to be matched with some bot in the game. Tt is really difficult to win against these bots because I think they are better players in the game as the way are programmed is hard to defeat them. This change is implemented only in the modern format however the wild format is still open for the parts and the real players so whoever wants to play using the bot still has got the option to play in the wild.

This year has been pretty good for the game since we have seen a lot of development happening in the splinterlands game. All this is going well because the project is trying for various innovations including some of the changes as per the proposals and this is because it helps the community to get valued. Any change that has been implemented in the game based on the proposal is the power of the community since it is done only if the majority of support is provided by the Community. This proposal model is a very good part of the game I would say because now we have the power to share our idea and if this is valuable then we can expect support. This is more towards decentralisation when the power is given in the community's hands and they can decide what change is good for them. it's not that every proposal has been supported so far as I have seen many proposals getting no support from the community it simply means that they are not good value addition to the game and this is the reason why people have not supported it.

No Bots In Modern format

Finally, this change is live and everyone who is playing the modern format must be very happy. I have been playing Wild since the split of the game format so this change is not making any impact on my gameplay. I like playing in the wild because I can use all my cards here but with modern only some edition cards can be used to play. I got to know that reward is better in modern as compared to the wild so I thought of giving it a try that I did over the weekend but unfortunately, my winning ratio was very bad. I was hardly able to win any battle and its because my cards are not good. Most of the cards are from the older editions and that is why it was not making me win the battles because other players come with more powerful cards from the latest editions including Untamed or the chaos legion. I played the modern format for the first time during the season but I want to go deeper here.

Investing in Modern Cards

Now because my current card collection is not good enough to play in a modern format and this is the reason I have decided that I will continue to play in the wild for some time but in the meantime, I will try to upgrade my collection. I will try to buy more cards as well as upgrade the ones that are available on the lower level so after some time I believe I should be able to play well in modern since my cards will not be the problem anymore. I know that there are many cards that are good and powerful in the latest editions and chaos legion can be the best choice at the moment because of the low price. Even the untamed is good because it has got many powerful cards but still, I would prefer to go with chaos legion or riftwatchers for further purchase since this card will be used for a long in the modern.

I know that the next upcoming edition will be called Rebellion but so far no details are shared by the team about its release. This edition will also be part of the modern format but as of now, the game is trying to deal with the Rift watchers because there are many packs available in the game. Even I think that the rebellion launch should take some time because of the winter situation in the crypto market and its better to release it sometime later. I expect that because of this board change in the game probably more demand for Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers will be seen. This can also result in better pricing for these cards as in my case I know that my existing cards are not good so if I want to play in modern then I will have to upgrade my deck.

It's a good idea to keep the deck ready for both formats and this way we can enjoy playing battles the way we want in modern or the wild depending upon our mood competition available in the game. Probably more competition will be there in the wild now because of the bots as everyone who used these bots will be part of the wild and playing against them will be really difficult. when it is difficult to play against the bots then people would move towards the modern and that is when the need for more cards will arise.

I will be shortlisting some cards for purchase and even the ones that require an upgrade in the game which I think will take some time but it's a task that I need to do.
