Splinterlands Battle Share with Manticore - Dragon Monster

Hello Game Players,

the weekend is just around the corner and I am here to share my battle share for this week. Sharing battle is an opportunity to talk about the battle and strategy. There are many tips and tricks that we follow to win and ultimately everyone wants to win as much as possible. The current season has been going in full swing and left for 10 days and I am trying to increase my rating and ranking in the game. I am in the gold 1 league and my highest possible rank is diamond 3 which I am trying to unlock by the weekend. I play more battles on weekend and my plan is to make it diamond so that I get a better quest reward for the remaining days of the season and at the end of the season it also brings a nice season-end reward. I expect that in the next 2 days I will be able to pay and win enough so that I can make it a diamond. I even played a lot today and my capture rate is less than 40% so I have left it idle for the day to get it recharged. Playing more battles is so much fun and I enjoy doing it.

In the earlier seasons, I used to avoid playing at the beginning of the season because everyone wants to play and move ahead in the game. Since everyone wants to grab the higher league possible so it creates more competition in the battleground. There is a reason behind it if I play more in the beginning then I can play more with a higher league and I would not have to deal with last-minute competition which is common these days in the game. Now I have changed my strategy and I start more battles in the beginning so that in the first week I can reach on my higher league and then in the remaining week I can just finish my quest and that is all I do.

This week the card name is Manticore and it's a dragon monster card in the dragon monster. It's a melee attack card that comes for 4 mana cost having 8 health and 3 speed long with 2 attack power. I have this card in level 4 and at this level, it gets 3 abilities including flying, reaches, and thorns.

Card Information

So now before we move ahead let's go through the card details first and more about the battle. let's try to understand more about this card called Manticore and its nice abilities. Usually, dragon cards are more powerful and expensive and I try to add more cards to my game deck. I think that it's such an important part to know more about any card we play in the game so that we can plan the battles accordingly in a such way that can make us win the game.

I have this Manticore in level 4 in the standard foil version and it's such a good card I recommend having this card in the account. I like this card very much because of its multiple abilities at the mana cost of 4 which is not so high and can be considered as good. This is not a high or low mana card but it's good to have for any type of battle with a dragon monster.

My Battle Strategy and Cards Placement

I got 18 mana for the battle and its low mana for battles however with this mana cost I managed to pick cards including the chicken, Manticore, Flesh Golem, Vulture, and Brownie . I have nice cards in my earth team so for any type of mana battles I can play well. I used dragon monster with earth to play this battle and I won the same. I have many powerful cards in earth monster but because of mana limitation I could only pick a few cards so I tried to pick the cards that are good for the battle and also fit for the battle at this mana.

This battle post is for the Manticore and I have this card on level 4 only however its good one for any type of battles and even for low mana battles. The mana cost of 4 is considered as good and not high and even not low. This card has got 3 abilities and is certainly a great option and choice to have in the account. I placed the Manticore in the first slot of the battle and it worked well to make me win the battle. Card placement is very important in the battle depending upon the theme and mix of abilities.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

It's very important to plan strategy for the battle and selection of right cards to win the game. In this battle, whatever strategy I planned in placing and choosing the cards for the battle went well and I won the battle.

Do you like the Manticore? Why or why not?

Definitely yes is my answer. I would like to use this card as it comes with nice ability at 4 mana cost. I like this card because this card has got multiple abilities. It's a good one that I like to use with low mana and average mana battles with dragon monster and it does great almost every time.
