SPS will DEC token in reward pool Soon

Splintershards (SPS) tokens airdrop ended last month and since then, there has been an update that sps will be part of the reward pool and replace the DEC token. DEC is a pegged token where 1000 DEC is worth 1 USD. These days this is de-pegged and the value is lower. Getting SPS in reward for focus and season reward change in the game and I am sure that people are going to love it. While the DEC token will be removed from the reward pool, it does not mean that this token will not be valuable during the time of AirDrop we have seen the price increase and it is because there was a lot of demand but supply was limited due to which the price was increased tokens is one of the tokens which was helping to increase the point significantly and because of this reason people were able to get every day AirDrop every day.

Now since this token will be removed so new tokens generation will also reduce but there will be the options to use the token as well and which is why we can expect the price to be pegged back. I like the change and I'm looking forward to seeing it going live where we will be able to get more sps and of course, this is one after token that will bring many benefits for the holders.

one of the main areas of the ecosystem that will be affected by this change is the Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) token since it will no longer be paid out for ranked battle rewards or in loot chests.

After this change, I expect that the price will be better and there will also be an option to burn sps to count to get the DEC tokens. The splinterlands team has been working hard to bring many challenges to the game ecosystem and I am sure that they must have done their homework before implementing the change because this is going to affect every player in the game. They are also going to increase the amount of reward pool after this and it is going to be a very good amount if you look at the post where they have shared the calculations.

The team has also acknowledged that the season reward is quite low these days and they want to improve the scenario which is why they are increasing the reward pool and even they are replacing the DEC with SPS. This sps will be staged in the account and will not be paid in form of liquid which I think is good because the more we stake will be helping us earn more rewards through the deposit apr. It's like I already stake my tokens so that there is no idle holding and I'm able to earn more rewards for all the tokens that I have deposited so this way it will help the players to earn even more with the increased stake.

So there will be 2 big changes that will benefit the players to earn better rewards once the changes are implemented. First is that- we will be able to earn sps which is a valuable token of course and 2nd, the increase in the reward pool which will also increase the reward that we earn through focus and season end. My goal is to have 100k sps this year and I hope that with the change I should be able to have more tokens which will help me to reach my goal faster. This is the reason why I am excited about this change and looking forward to seeing it live soon.
