Larry Is Alive 12 April 2024: I Am Alive Challenge
Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for friday, the 12th day of April, 2024. News has it that Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has been given a two-game touchline suspension following his red card against Chelsea on March 30. He will receive a one-game suspension immediately, with the other match suspended until the end of the year. Kompany will begin to serve his one-game ban when the Clarets host Brighton at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.
Larry begins his look at today in history from the world of space exploration. He finds out that on this day in 1981, NASA launched the first space shuttle, Columbia, which was designed to orbit Earth, transport people and cargo to and from orbiting spacecraft, and glide to a runway landing on its return to Earth.
From the world of space exploration, Larry goes to Chile. He finds out that on this day in 2014, a forest fire that spread to Valparaíso, Chile's port city, destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least sixteen people before it was put out a few days later.
From Chile, Larry goes to the world of boxing. He finds out that on this day in 1989, Sugar Ray Robinson, an American boxer and a six-time world champion and widely regarded as the greatest fighter in history, died at the age of 67 in Culver City, California.
From the world of boxing, Larry goes to the USA. He finds out that on this day in 1983, Harold Washington was elected the first African American mayor of Chicago.
From the USA, Larry goes to Russia. He finds out that on this day in 1961, the Russian cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin became the first human in outer space.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from the Great Britain. He finds out that on this day in 1606, The Union Flag, forerunner to the Union Jack, was approved as the national flag of Great Britain.
Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in three places, that is, at Listnerds, and CTPX!
With my hunt at Listnerds, I read over ten mails to complete the minimum requirements for the task. Here is my proof
