Larry Is Alive March 10, 2024: I Am Alive Challenge

Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for sunday, the 10th day of March, 2024. Today's is celebrated by the Methodist church, Anglican church and the presbyterian church as mothering Sunday. Wishing all mothers a happy and splendid mothering Sunday celebration.

Arsenal overcame sturbon Brendford at the Emirates Stadium yesterday's evening to win the EPL match (2-1).

Later in the day, Liverpool played a (1-1) draw with champions Manchester City. Most fans had wanted either of the sides to win but the game produced a stalement.

Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.

Larry begins his look at today in history from Germany. He finds out that on this day in 1933, shortly after Adolf Hitler became chancellor, the first concentration camp in Germany, Dachau, opened, where at least 32,000 people would die due to disease, hunger, physical persecution, and executions.

From Germany, Larry goes to South Korea. He finds out that on this day in 2017, South Korean politician Park Geun-Hye's administration came to an end when the country's Constitutional Court upheld her impeachment, making her the country's first democratically elected president to be removed from office.

From South Korea, Larry goes to Cameroon. He finds out that on this day in 1981, Samuel Eto'o, a Cameroonian professional football (soccer) player, who is regarded as one of the best African players of all time was born in Nkon, Cameroon. Happy birthday 🎂🎉 to him.

From Cameroon, Larry goes to Switzerland. He finds out that on this day in 1936, Sepp Blatter, whose full name is Joseph S. Blatter, a Swiss sports executive who was President of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) from 1998 to 2015, the governing body of international football (soccer) most known for overseeing the World Cup, was born in Visp, Switzerland. Happy birthday 🎂🎉 to him as well.

From Switzerland, Larry goes to the Philippines. He finds out that on this day in 1891, José P. Laurel, a Filipino lawyer, politician, and jurist, was president of the Philippines from 1943 to 1945, during the Japanese occupation was born in Tanauan, Luzon, Philippines.

Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from the world of music and entertainment. He finds out that on this day in 1971, Timbaland, a prominent American producer, hip-hop and rhythm-and-blues musician who helped a number of recording artists achieve chart success in the early twenty-first century was born in Norfolk, Virginia, U.S.A.

Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.
