BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! | SILENCED SUMMONERS

A pleasant day to all the members in the Hive community especially in the Splinterlands game platform.

I wanted to share my battle for this week's challenge featuring the ruleset Silent Summoners.

In this battle, I'm currently in the Silver League while my units are under the level of the Bronze league due to low cost for renting because I casually play the game when I'm in my rest from work.

RULESETS

• Fire & Regret: All the monsters have the Return Fire ability.
• Silenced Summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
• 44 mana capacity battle.
• Elements available to use: Fire, Life, Death, and Dragon

STRATEGY LINEUP

• Summoner: For the summoner, I choose Kretch Talevor due to being a a summoner with no abilities to preserve mana to use in other units.
• First Position: For this position, I choose Shieldbearer due to its high armor and health stats. With its Taunt ability, all the opponent's monster attacks will go first through it, preserving my other units in my lineup.
• Second Position: Corsair Bosun is my reserve tank once the Shieldbearer is defeated due to its high stats and armor for this lineup. With the reach ability, it can attack the enemy unit from this position which will help in the damage area. With the Reflection Shield ability, some of the passive damage abilities of the opponent's units are voided.
• Third position: I choose Scale Doctor in this position as a sacrifice unit once my reserve tank is defeated. Although there is a return fire ability in all units, I still choose this unit just for its additional health to allies with its Strengthen ability.
• Fourth Position: High Priest Darius as one of my magic damagers attacking the rival units from below. With the Resurrect ability, it can resurrect again my unit who is defeated once. Making my formation still stable in the battle.
• Fifth Position: Oshuur Constantia, another magic damager and Resurrect ability user for my lineup which makes my formation more stable.
• Sixth Position: For the final position, I choose Lensmaster as my sacrificial units just to protect Oshuur Constantia.

To start the battle, the damage of my melee units decreased due to the opponent's unit with the Demoralize ability. All my units had the additional increase in health thanks to the ability of the Scale Doctor.

First round, the armor of the Shieldbearer was removed. The rival unit in the first position was defeated which lead to the opponent to have 5 units left in its formation.

Second round starts for the rival unit attacking the Shieldbearer. The Lensmaster s defeated in this round due to the return fire ability. Thanks to the resurrect ability of the High Priest Darius, it was resurrected again to protect the Oshuur Constantia. The Shieldbearer is defeated in this round but with the resurrect ability of the Oshuur Constantia, it was alive again to serve its final purpose as a tank unit. The enemy unit is defeated in this round leading to the opponent to have four unit left in the formation.

Third round leads to my Shieldbearer to be defeated leading to the Corsair Bosun in the first position. Lensmaster is also defeated in this round. The opponent has three units available to battle.

The two units of the opponent has been defeated in the fourth round leading to the fifth round to have only one remaining unit leading to my win in the end.

I gained 20 points for the wild division, 229 RP, and 0.01 SPS for this round.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

With choosing Kretch Talevor as my summoner, I preserved some mana and utilized it efficiently based on my battle result. The strategy of choosing 2 high melee units and 2 magic units with resurrection ability, the outcome was coherent. It is also clear that there is a difference in levels in the enemy units even though the summoner is in the Silver League level which makes me think that the opponent is also renting cards and the chosen element the he/she rented wasn't available to use.
