Greetings to all the players of the Splinterlands community, and also the Hive Blockchain community members!

This is the first blog that I will create and I would like to share my battle from the featured Share Your Battle Challenge that features the use of Deeplurker in battles.

Image created by the Splinterlands Team.

A short introduction for the featured monster, Deeplurker is a new card, a common grade from the Water attribute from the latest pack edition which is the Chaos Legion Edition.

Here is the featured battle that I will share today. The levels of the monsters I've choose for my lineup is within the Broze rank guide.

BATTLE LINK

RULESETS

  • Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the Knock Out ability.
  • Earthquake: Non-Flying monsters takes 2-melee damage after the round.

LINEUP STRATEGY

  • Because it involves the Earthquake ruleset, I choose Brighton Bloom as my summoner, giving the fly ability to its summons making the 2-melee damage inexistent.

  • For the first position or the tank, I choose Torhilo The Frozen. An epic grade card in the 2nd level that has the stats of 4 melee damage, 1 speed, 5 armor, and 9 health. I choose this monster because of the Void ability that reduces the magic damage it receives in case the enemy choose some magic monsters for the lineup.

  • Second position is for the Deeplurker. A common grade monster in the 3rd level that has the stats of 3 melee damage, 3 speed and 7 health. It has the Opportunity ability that attacks the enemy in any position it is place.

  • Third position is the Captain's Ghost. A rare grade monster in the 2nd level that has the stats of 2 magic damage, 2 speed, and 7 health. With the Affliction ability, when it is acquired by the target, it nullifies the heal given by a certain monster.

  • Fourth position is the Ruler Of The Seas. A legendary grade in the 1st level and has the stats of 2 magic damage, 3 speed, and 5 health. I choose this monster for its blast ability, giving damage to the target's adjacent monsters of the enemy making it lose some health points.

  • Last position is the Furious Chicken for my backline defense, protecting the Ruler Of The Seas. A rare grade monster in the 2nd level that has the stats of 1 speed, and 1 health.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

My strategy work as I intended based on my chosen lineup. The enemy, same as me, choose also Brighton Bloom as the summoner. The enemy focused on the melee-range damage while I focused on the melee-magic damage, leading to me to have an advantage. With the Affliction ability of the Captain's Ghost, the Heal ability of the Sea Monster has been nullified leading to its instant defeat. The Deeplurker instantly defeated also the Crustacean King of the enemy removing the other healer of the enemy lineup. Thanks to the Blast ability of the Ruler Of The Seas, it reduces the health of the remaining monsters in the enemy lineup ending with me winning the battle.

DO YOU LIKE TO USE THE DEEPLURKER?

As a new player, Deeplurker will be one of the cards that I will use in the future. With the release of the latest pack edition, I could buy a few and earn some new cards that will help me in my battle especially with the upcoming battle format that's been developing for the game. With the opportunity ability of the Deeplurker, it is a good card to be added in my lineup where it can adapt base on a certain ruleset, utilizing its full potential.

Thank you for reading my blog. Upvotes, comments, and reblogs are greatly appreciated. Hope you could learn something in my battles just like myself who learned more from other players sharing their strategies in their battles.

Hello, @amafable07! I'm @jcrodriguez from the @OCD team. we've seen that you've already published your first post here on Hive!

Beautiful pictures. The best way to start your journey here at Hive is to make an awesome introduction post . As an example of what an introduction post is, you can refer to this introduction post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There is no specific format on how to make your introduction post, but there are some suggested content we would like to see in your post: Information like who you are and where you're from, how you discovered Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types you want to produce, and what your expectations are on this platform. You can choose the information you want to share. This will help other Hivers get to know you and feel comfortable supporting your work here.

Keep in mind that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms, as you are monetizing your blog, so it's important not to include content you don't own without sources (and it should not exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check out this post – Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers. You can also check out this excellent collection of resources to understand how plagiarism and abuse is handled on the platform.

If you have questions or concerns, you can join the OCD Discord server and we will be happy to answer your questions.

Lovesniper will follow you, we hope to see your presentation post soon! You can tag @lovesniper in your introduction post.
