SPLINTERLANDS CONTEST: Evangelist (Digital painting) IbisPaint
Hace varias semanas que no me dedicaba a publicar algo para esta comunidad y quise traer en esta ocasión esta versión de un personaje llamado evangelista. Quería hacer algo diferente y me tomé un poco de licencia para dulcificar el personaje y en lugar de una mujer gritando pinté a una mujer cantando; pero no solo eso sino que traje tambien ha cambiado y ahora es una vaposora tunica que le da un aspecto muy especial.
ILLUSTRATION PROCESS
Mi primera idea antes de empezar este dibujo era hacer algo luminoso que contrastara con la oscuridad que tenia en mente para el fondo. Así que me preparé una paleta de colores para la piel. De esta manera empecé el trabajo de pintura por el rostro.
My first idea before starting this drawing was to make something bright that would contrast with the darkness that I had in mind for the background. So I prepared a palette of colors for the skin. In this way I began the painting work on the face.
En esta ocasión trabajé con el aerografo poniendo varias capas de color intentando evitar el uso del blend mas adelante. Para darme un poco de perspectiva empecé a pintar boca y ojos y así trabajar sobre ellos.
On this occasion I worked with the airbrush putting several layers of color trying to avoid the use of the blend later. To give myself a bit of perspective I started to paint the mouth and eyes and thus work on them.
Empecé a trabajar en boca y ojos, puliendo algunos detalles antes de poner un fondo negro para empezar a trabajar sobre el vestido blanco.
I started working on the mouth and eyes, polishing some details before putting a black background to start working on the white dress.
Estuve trabajando un buen rato sobre el vestido con algunos pinceles muy básicos, porque no tenía de momento los que suelo usar; de igual modo con el cabello, no contaba con mis pinceles modificados y tuve que usar los que vienen por defecto en la aplicación.
I was working for a long time on the dress with some very basic brushes, because at the moment I didn't have the ones I usually use; In the same way with the hair, I did not have my modified brushes and I had to use the ones that come by default in the application.
Al terminar la textura del cabello añadí un poco mas de sombras para complementar y con los bordes limpios afiné un poco los brazos que habían quedado un poco gruesos.
Finalmente salí de la app ibispaint y entré a picsart para dar los ultimos detalles del fondo.
When finishing the texture of the hair I added a little more shadows to complement and with the clean edges I refined the arms a bit that had been a little thick.
Finally I left the ibispaint app and entered picsart to give the last details of the background.
Finalmente quedé satisfecha y di por terminado el trabajo de este personaje llamado Evangelista.
Finally I was satisfied and I finished the work of this character called Evangelista.
