The Legendaries

We are getting closer to the end of this series! I did also split the legendary cards, but will do a conclusion for all the reward cards as well! If you have any suggestions or want me to cover a specific topic, please let me know.

Djinn Oshannus

This is probably one of my favorite cards so far. 8 mana can give you 2 magic damage, 5 speed and 10 HP with void. This is kind of a magic damage tank. And it gets even tankier. At level 2 it gets another HP and Phase, making it able to dodge magic damage. At level 3 it gets the unique forcefield ability, reducing all damage above 5 to 1 damage taken and it gets another magic damage at level 4. While Void and Phase are available at Silver level, Forcefield kicks in at Gold.
For water void itself is special, with Torhilo being the only other Void user in water. But Gargoya Lion, Gelationous Cube, Prismatic Energy, Onyx Sentinel, Chain Golem and Lord Arianthus at neutral and Robo-Dragon Knight at Dragon, are all options, that could be used with water teams. And there are also cards with void in Fire, Earth, Live and Death. Phase is a bit more special. Efreet Elder (Rewards, Rare) in Fire gets it at level 6, Pelacor Conjurer at its max level 10, Ajax Lightfood (Gladius, Rare) at level 7, Nightmare (Rewards, Common) at level 6 and Almo Cambio (Rewards, Legendary) also at level 2. But Djinn Oshannus is the only one, that has Void and Phase. Together with Forcefield it is the perfect tank against magic damage – and a perfect counter to Llama + Kron. While a “normal” maxed Kron would be dealing only two damage, whenever it is not dodged, a Last Stand Kron would be only dealing one damage. On the other hand a maxed out Djinn Oshannus could deal 3 damage. Since Kron would be healing, Oshannus alone wouldn’t be enough, but combined with another damage dealer, they could easily take down Llama Kron. Especially Torhilo is a good pick – and also a hard counter to Djinn Oshannus as well.
Regarding price it is also undervalued. Since it has a very unique set of abilities it is hard to be compared, but place it at least in the range of The Kraken and Oaken Behemoth, maybe even close to the Phantom of the Abyss and Frost Giant. It is really valuable with Alrich, Bortus, Delwyn, Valnamor and Archmage Arius. I also think it can be great with Kitty and Neb Seni, since with High Speed and its defense against magic, it is really difficult to be attacked at all. Being Enraged it is at 8 speed – and at max level at 5 Magic attack, which would definitely be able to destroy everything in its way.

Djinn Biljka

The Earth Legendary. The next and last Djinn has the Camouflage ability, making it invisible to opponents and therefore not being targeted, unless in first position. It still can take blast damage. At level 1 it comes with1 magic damage, 1 speed, 2 HP and Camouflage. It gets another Magic Damage and Void at level two, Weaken at Level 3 and another Magic Damage at level 4. For a cost of 3 mana, this can come in handy. But there are – unfortunately – better alternatives. So far Djinn Biljka has been the cheapest legendary for most of the time, right now at under $18. Even its Gold foil version is at “only” $400 (although all three new legendary cards are cheap compared to all others). Since Spirit Druid Grog, the next cheapest card at $48, there isn’t a guarantee, that Djinn Biljka is getting a massive price appreciation.
So far, I haven’t figured out, how to make good use of Camouflage. And it is mainly up to this ability, since it is his major selling point, to make him being worth more than $20.

Giveaway

I want to try a little giveaway with this post.
And I think that HivePower is something most of you really could use. So I will, as I did with this post, add one to three beneficiares to the post next to the end of this giveaway, who will receive 5% of the payouts of that post each. If there are more than 20 participants, I will increase the amount to 10% per winner.
So you will benefit from the post next week, which will be done after the payout of this one.

The rules are quite simple:

  • Leave an upvote
  • Leave a comment and tell me why you need RC / HP and how you think you can that HP
  • I will choose the most creative/ most funny or most helpful comments
  • Not necessary but appreciated: Reblog this post and follow me for future content

The winner will be drawn at the payout date of this post.
The beneficiaries of this post helped me a lot in the past and so I wanted to give them a little "thank you". @failingforward , @unorgmilitia and @pacolimited !

Thanks

Also some thanks to @foreveraverage for the delegations of Djinn Oshannus and Lava Launcher - didn't expected to win in that stream, but did in the end.
And thanks to @aftersound for the DEC. Always appreciated!

Cheers,

@andy-plays

PS: If you need HivePower, you can try out @giftgiver . Recently it seems like they are out of HP very often, since probably many people trying to get some delegations. But maybe you are lucky. I did use them a lot, when I started on peakd and splintertalk.

My thoughts don't have time to reload. It is painful to wait to make a simple comment.
