My Lineup

I played with Pyre as a summoner, since I wanted to move faster than my opponent and win the battle of th Serpentine Spies. I put Antoid Platoon on first position, since I thought that we would see a lot of Melee and Ranged attackers - didn't expect two magic attackers though. On second position I played with Xenith Monk, because he has high health. The Serpentine Spy on third position is great because of his opportunity. I like to play Scavo Firebolt for Fire Splinter, since it has 2 ranged attack.
Then comes the Challenge Card - the Lava Spider. It is also a great fit, since it usually attacks some (weaker) cards in the backline. So while my first two cards are frontline cards, the Serpentine Spy is taking away everything weak and the Scavo Firebolt also damaging the frontline - the Lava Spider is aiming for the back line. A good combination in my opinion. On the last position I put the Spark Pixies, since they are fast and hard to hit, while still having two damage.

My Strategy

I wanted to destroy his frontline and weak backliners as fast as possible - and try to get the advantage of speed. This actually worked. My biggest problem was, that I played with two many ranged attackers - and an all melee and ranged set. So both my tanks couldn't get through the opponent's Platoon, which did cost me many attacks, while his magic attackers cut through my platoon like butter. Next time, I would probably take a magic attacker instead the Firebolt, which would probably give me a few more attacks.
My opponent won mainly because of his magic attackers. This was my big weakness. But fire is not connected to magic for me. So I will use more magic attackers next time.

Lava Spider

I like the Lava Spider, since it won't attack the big front tank - at least in most of the cases. The biggest problem is, that right now Tarsa is a lot more common than Pyre - and Lava Spider is not really working together with Tarsa. Especially if you don't know, what you are going against, Tarsa is usually the choice I prefer over Pyre.
Therefore right now Lava Spider is limited for me.
