Blind Trouble You! Explosive Weaponry Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets!

photo_2023-06-05_22-52-56.jpg

Hello guys!

Yeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterlands post and today I wanna share my Battle Mage Secrets again, Explosive Weaponry rulesets. This is my second post to join this challenge. Although it's been difficult to get battles with these rulesets lately, I finally found an interesting battle that I can share with you again.

Well, I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. I played on modern battles on Gold leagues using my other scholarship account with IGN BLTZR-WIZARD-700, and maybe the battle strategies I'd share weren't suitable to apply in other leagues because the differences in ability that open up are different from each league.

Ok guys, without further ado, let's get straight to the heart of this post!

Battle Rulesets

photo_2023-06-05_22-53-24 (2).jpg

The rulesets in this battle are:

  • Super Sneak (All melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability)
  • Rise of The Commons (Only Common and Rare monsters may be used in this battle)
  • Explosive Weaponry (All Monsters have the Blast ability)
  • Mana Capacity 48
  • Active Element Fire, Water, Earth, Life and Dragon.

Line Up and Strategy

If you look at the existing rulests, both defense from the back and back are very necessary. It is possible to use as many monster Melee as possible to use Super Nneak rulesets, or vice versa. Rise of the Commons rulesets make all legendary and Epic monsters unusable, this means that the opponent is likely to use a combination of Taunt and Reflection Shield is also small because the average Refection Shiled monster is Legendary and Epic.

I think the best strategy for this battle is to take advantage of speed, and of course Kleya Frendul and the water monster army are the best choices because they have high speed on average. Let's see the table below for a more detailed explanation.

MonsterPositionAbilitiesStrategy
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-24.jpgKelya FrendulSummoner+1 Speed, +1 ArmorKelya Frendul's buff is very useful for Explosive Weaponry Rulesets because whoever has higher speed will have more chances to win.
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-23 (2).jpgFlying SquidFirstReach, BlindAlthough usually this monster is in second place, but I chose this monster as the main tank because it has great speed and blind ability that increases the opportunity to miss attacks. This will be very useful to block melee fund Range attacks, but weak enough for magic attacks.
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-23.jpgCoastal SentrySecondDouble StrikeMonsters that have Doublestrike and Melee attack damage are large enough to be the main attacker on SuperSneak rulesets, especially with Explosive Weaponry Rulesets will make this monster deadly. I deliberately put this monster in second place, because apart from being an attacker, it also doubles as a second tank.
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-22.jpgSwamp SpitterThirdRepairThe only monster that becomes a support and attacker in this battle. Repair ability will be very useful for Repair Armor of friendly monsters that get the most attacks, and as an attacker this monster also has 3 attack ranges, with decent speed.
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-21.jpgDeeplurkerFourthOpportunity, PoisonMelee monsters are various that can be used as main attackers because they have strong damage as well as poison and Opportunity abilities and have high speed. These monsters can be used in both normal rulesets and Supersneak Rulesets. And in Explosive Weaponry rulesets, of course, this monster will be very detrimental to the opponent because the attack is very explosive.
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-20.jpgVenari MarksratFifthMartyrYou could say this monster is just a sacrifice of attack, which must receive a blast from an attack that hits the rear tank. But because this monster has Martyr ability, it could be very useful because if the Martyr ability is active because this monster dies, then the stats of monsters among these monsters will increase. This means that damage from the Deeplurker as well as the rear tank will increase.
photo_2023-06-05_22-53-19.jpgDiemonsharkLastTrample, EnrageMy instinct told me that the clouds would also make good use of the Super Sneak rulesets, using a lot of mele monsters for attacks from the rear position, so I decided to use Diemonshark which has good stats as a tank in the last position. In addition to having large HP and Armor, this monster also has high speed and Enrage Ability, which if Enrage is active then the damage and speed of this monster will increase by 2x. This will make it difficult for the opponent's monsters to kill these monsters.

As I expected, the opponent also used Kelya Frendul and many Melee monsters in this battle. I think my strategy will work as well as I planned.

lineup.jpg

The first position as a front tank is Arkemist the Bear with Protect and Halfing abilities. The second position is Disintegrator who has the Demoralize ability to reduce melee damage from all enemy monsters and also the Trample ability. The third position is Deeplurker who is also active Poison and the fourth position is Flying Squid who has Reach and Blind abilities. The fifth position is the support of the monster Angelic mandarin with Triage ability and the last position is Diemonshark, a period like my formation.

At first glance, the strategy used by the two teams is almost the same. With the same strength, who will be the winner? Let's jump into the battlefield arena to see the course of the battle.

BATTLEFIELD ARENA

I've also included a youtube video of this battle that you can play right away.

As usual, the battle begins with buff and debuff parties from all Summoners and Monsters. All monsters have the same average speed, but I received more debuffs and the opponent also got more buffs.

round1.jpg

My Flying Squid became the first monster to attack, but unfortunately the attack missed the Archemic of The Bear. The first attack from the opponent's monster that is Diemonshark also miss my Diemonshark. All monsters returned attacks, but none of the monsters died in this first round.

round2.jpg

At the beginning of the second round, Venari Markstrat dies and Marty's ability is active, making the stats of Diemonshark and Deeplurker increase. After that, the two monsters whose speed had risen immediately got the opportunity to attack, Diemonshark and Angelic Mandarin opponents died quickly. There are a total of 4 miss attacks in this round, namely Deeplurker's attack to Diemonshark, Swamp Spitter's attack to The Bear's Archemist, The Bear's Archemist's attack to Flying Suid, and Disintegrator attack to Diemonshark. Until the second round ended, there were 4 monsters left on the opponent's side and 5 monsters that I had.

With just one attack Archemic The Bear died and I won this battle with 5 monsters left. You can see the final result of this battle in the picture below.

STRATEGY DISCUSSION

My strategy worked very well in this battle. The active Martyr makes his battle path very different, because of the increase in stats from Diemonshark and Deeplurker. After the Martyr ability is active, the opponent does not have many opportunities to attack until finally one by one the monsters die.
