I'm back again with my Splinterlands post to join Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I will discuss about one of the Legendary Summoner Promo editions of the Death element, Waka Spiritblade. This is not a new summoner, but I was interested in discussing this monster because a while ago, this Summoner became one of the max level Death summoners with a cheap rental fee. In fact, Waka Spiritblade is a promo Summoner with a limited edition which at the time of the sales event the price is relatively high and is only sold at max level. I'm interested in re-hiring this summoner so I can do a little discussion about this monster.

Well I'll also share battle strategies using Waka Spiritblade when I'm doing a rank push on modern battles in the Diamond league. As you know, I'm not a Proplayer and neither am I a tournament hero – I'm just happy to share battle strategies I think my own views of the battles I find interesting. Maybe the strategy I used wouldn't be suitable for other leagues either because of the difference in the abilities that open up from each monster.

Waka Spiritblade, is a legendary 3-cost death summoner with the poison ability! This ability will apply to all of your monsters on the field and will provide a 50% chance of them poisoning enemy monsters on hit, dealing additional damage to poisoned monsters at the beginning of each round once the ability has been applied.

When he just came out, Waka Spiritbalde became a summoner who was quite feared, but slowly the sea people favored Thadiius Brood compared to Waka Spiritblade.

Waka Spiritblade does have the ability Posion with a 50% chance of them poisoning enemy monsters on hit, but I think it's like gambling because of the uncertainty. It could be that if your RNG is jeek then no Posion drips even up to a few rounds. This is what causes players to prefer other summoners whose abilities are already full of certainty.

Splinterlands is partnering up with Rapper, Recording Artist, and Reality TV Star Waka Flocka Flame and LOAK to bring you an exclusive NFT drop. All Waka Spiritblade cards are sold at max level.

BATTLE PREPARATION

The rulesets in this battle are Odd Ones Out (Only Monster with odd mana coast may be used in battles) with Mana Cap 19and Element active Earth, Death and Life.

Battles with mana capacity 19 and only monsters with odd mana that can be used are quite difficult to compile decks. I decided to fill all the Slots with monsters even though ity means a lot of the little monsters I use. This is to maximize the Posion Ability given by Waka Spiritblade to all monsters. Well The deck arrangement that I compiled and the strategy of each monster can be seen in the table below:

Crypt Beetle	First (Tank)	Shield	Which monster 3 seems to me the most powerful for low mana tanks in modern battle. The rental price is also relatively cheap. Even though the low level of HP is very small, but the level up of this monster stats is quite interesting.
Carrion Shade	Second (Second Tank)	Flying	Carrion Shade which monster 1 is pretty good because it has the ability Flying. The stats are also interesting, and have a fairly large chance of missing melee and range attacks. And has 2 melee attacks and 3 HP that can be used as a second tank.
Silent Sha-Vi	Third (Attacker)	Sneak, Cripple	Silent Sha-Vi is the main attacker in my formation. It has a very high speed and 4 melee attacks, a deadly attack. Plus the active Cripple abililty will help to reduce the opponent's HP in each attack, even if the attack only hits Armor from the target.
Uraeus	Fourth (Attacker)	Sneak, Poison	Uraeus duets with Silent Sha-Vi who both have Sneak ability to concentrate attacks from the rear defense.
Life Sapper	Fifth (Attacker)	Life Leech, Redemption	Well, this is one of my favorite low mana monsters because it has Life Leech ability, which is sometimes the determinant of victory in low mana battles. In addition, Life Sapper has also activated ability redemption, which means that if this monster dies, all enemy monsters will receive 1 damage attack.
Chaos Agent	Last (Tank)	Dodge, Phase	I deliberately put the Chaos agent on the very back posiis as a tank from Sneak monster. Even though it doesn't have an attack, Chaos Agent often becomes annoying because it is quite difficult to hit. Dodge ability makes Melee and Range attacks quite high probability of miss attack, and Phase ability makes Magic attacks also have a high probability of miss

The picture below is the line-up of the two teams. Opponents use Summoner Lux Vega, a Legendary Neutral Summoner Promo combined with monsters from Earth element. Lux Vega has abilities +1 Sped, +1 Armor, and +1 HP. The opponent only uses 4 monsters in his deck.

In the first position as a Tank there is a Pelacor Mercenary max level that has the ability to Flying, Heal, and Retaliate. This monster will be quite difficult to hit because before receiving the buff from Lux Vega, it already has speed 4 and Flying ability. In second place is Uraeus, who will target Chaos Agent whose position is at the very back. The third position is Mylcelic Morphoid with Thorn ability which will be the target of my Sneak monster, because the rearmost monster, Djinn Biljka has a Camouflage ability that only can be attacked when in the first position.

This battle is quite interesting because both teams are equally strong. There is no landslide victory here, and there are not many buffs and debauffs received from all monsters. I'm grateful that RNG god is still with me, where the Poison who is active in one attack is more than the inactive one. In the end, I won narrowly in the seventh round, with only 1 monster with a small HP.

The first round begins with a buff and debuff feast of all Summoners and monsters. After getting buffs and debuffs, in one round I have 10 melee attacks and 2 magic attacks while opponents have 6 melee attacks and 3 magic attacks.

Silent Sha-Vi has the highest speed so he gets the first attacking opportunity. His attack hit the Mycelic Morphoid Armor but his attack also turned around because of Thorn. Cripple ability results in reduced HP Mycelic Morphoid 1. The opponent's Uraeus attack on the Chaos agent missed, and my Uraeus Attack killed Mycelic Morphoid in this first round. The first round ended with no poison active, as only Posion Uraeus was active but the target died immediately before being exposed to the poison.

The second round began with Silent Sha-Vi's attack on Uraeus, and Posion Silent Sha-Vi actively hit Uraeus. My Chaos Agent died because of the opponent's Uraeus. The second round ended with the Crypt Beetle dying from Djinn Biljka's attack. The remaining 4 monsters are sided and the remaining 3 monsters are on the opposing side.

The third round begins with the opponent's Uraeus dying from being exposed to poison. My Carrion Shade also died with just one attack by Pelacor Mercenary. I think that until this point it will be difficult to beat Pelacor Mercenary which has Heal ability. Luckily Poison from Life Sapper hits Pelacor Mercenary. The hope of victory only in a Life Sapper pad whose HP increases every time his attack hits the target's HP.

Silent Sha-Vi died in the fourth round, and Uraeus was the same, dying at the end of the fourth round. Now there is only Life Spper left on his side.

The fifth round began with Pelacor Mercenary dying from poison. Now the match is only 1 on 1 between Life Sapper and Djinn Biljka.

In the fifth round Poison Life Sapper did not hit Djinn Biljka and only hit jinn Biljka in the sixth round. I think it's a breath of fresh victory for you, because impossible to win if not with poison.

I finally won the match in the first round after Djinn Biljka died of poison. You can see the final result of this match in the image below.

STRATEGY DISCUSSION

I honestly felt that the strategy I used was not very effective, even though I won in the end. This is because Poison is erratic when it is active, so there is no definite thing and only relies on RNG God from active Posion. It takes 2-3x attacks for Poison to be active, and maybe at other times the monsters like my formation above have died first because of the opponent's attack before the poison that is actively hits the opponent.

I think this is the reason why Waka Spiritblade now rarely uses, because other players prefer to use Summoners who have more definite buffs and debuffs, not just relying on RGN God. Especially people whose her lucky is small, it is obviously very redundant to use this summoner. The existing ones are even upset themselves because they see others using Waka Spiritblade with OP, Poison is always active while when wearing it alone it turns out to be dregs, posion is never active hahahaha
