Audit Progress

Throughout February we have continued to work with our auditing team Hashlock in an effort to make the Aqualis launch ready as soon as possible in an effort to NOT miss this bull run. They have released a preliminary report for internal review and will produce a final report once we are ready to launch.

At this stage, we are planning to launch on Polygon but this will be addressed in our GTM plan. We also aim to launch a beta version of our ERC20 token and staking on the Polygon mainnet for the community to test prior to our mainnet go live date. More details will be provided as we approach our go live.

New UI

Over the past few months, we have been working with Halaska Studios, a leading web3 design studio to revamp the Aqualis frontend. Now, this might not seem important but we firmly believe our branding, look and feel is paramount to attracting users in 2024. Here are some sample pics:

New GTM Plan

Aqualis had begun formulating a go to market (GTM) plan over January but ultimately decided it may not be feasible, causing the protocol to launch too slowly. Therefore, over February and now March we have been working on a new GTM plan.

This includes:

  • New tokeonomics to support a fairlaunch style
  • Reduced public sale allocation and price
  • Higher allocation into liquidity
  • Much lower initial fully diluted value (FDV)
  • Reduced team allocation
  • More KoL/influencer marketing involvement

These changes are inspired from successful memecoin launches, and we believe if we take the tokenomics of a successful memecoin and put it into an actual governance utility token, it has a much better chance of success compared to the traditional ICO model our old tokenomics were modelled after.

We will provide more details regarding this in a full post sa soon as possible, possibly by late March or early April. The Aqualis team has dedicated the entirety of March so far working out how to launch as soon as possible.

Our aim for March is to increase the unique users while working to increase our profits. This will be done through a marketing partnership with the Push and Shove token, a new Splinterlands community memecoin!
