SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! CARRION SHADE - 2nd Post

Hi everyone! It's my second time sharing for the weekly battle challenge, with the Carrion Shade from the Death Splinter.

Ruleset

1. Armoured Up: All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat
2. Healed Out: All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners
3. Only Fire, Death and Dragon Splinters can be used

Cards & Line Up

The Summoner
Summoner: Thaddius Brood - This reduces the health of the opponents deck and also reduces any magic attack damage. This is very useful in this ruleset, especially if the opponent uses magic cards to bypass the additional shields.

The Line Up

Position	Name	Description
1	Cursed Windeku	It has has 10 health at level 2 and thorns against melee attacks. The high health will hopefully make my tank last longer than the opponent.
2	Carrion Shade	It’s low mana cost (1), and has flying at level 3, which will hopefully result in some attacks missing. It’s also acts as the secondary tank or distraction against opportunity cards.
3	Corpse Fiend	It’s 0 mana cost, and placed here as a distraction in case the opponent uses an opportunity card, and I've used up 24 mana for the other positions.
4	Venari Bonesmith	Placed in the second last position, as it uses magic, which bypasses the additional 2 shields in this ruleset, and has life leech, which will hopefully allow it to last a little longer.
5	Magi Necrosi	It has good damage (+2), snipe and camouflage. Hopefully it'll take out the opponent's ranged and magic cards first, while avoiding damage until is reaches first position.
6	Uraeus	Placed in the last position as the level 2 version has a damage of 2 and 1 shield against sneak attacks, and at the same time attack the opponent's backline. It can be placed in position 5 too since Magic Necrosi can't be targeted until it reaches position 1.

The strategy worked against my opponent even though he used Delwyn Dragonscale (+1 magic). Thaddius Brood (-1 magic, -1 health) neutralised the opponent's added magic, and reduced the health of all his cards. This allowed my to quickly take out his Death Elemental and Weirdling Warrior, followed by Harklaw and finally Magi Necrosi.
