Chaos at the Discord!

Ok..so maybe chaos is such a strong word...

By now, most players already know about the private sale that's gonna happen with Chaos Legion. I'm new to this game but from what I understand, a lot of players, especailly guildmembers, will be able to get their hands on a lot of those CL packs even before the general sale..For new players like me, it's unfair! What's the purpose of a general sale? The devs are only in it for the money, they don't care about the low budget players..I'm quitting this game and looking for another game..Who's with me?? I already left the Discord server.

If you've gotten up to this point, thank you for reading further..To continue, I left the discord server because of the negativity that's been popping out of my notifications because of the private sale news..A lot of players are hating and it was just too much for a newbie to take..

Ok..so many players, and I'm pretty sure most are either new or low-budget players like me, are feeling like "damn how we supposed to grind to higher tiers now?"..Honestly? This is a bummer if you just want to buy some packs and collect cards for hodling..but if you love to play, just grind like you always do even if you can't get those packs or even if guilds get more packs than we can..

Do i like it? No, cause it's gonna be an even harder grind..but it's not something new to me..Do I like it? Well, looking at it from devs' standpoint, I do like it..Splinterlands is still a business at the end of the day, and they must do what they can to keep it afloat while keeping things balanced for everybody in the game..not everone will agree with what I have to say, but i know there are players who will..And I wanna hear everybody out..Let's just be positive

My point is..there are still a lot of ways to play this game and get to higher tiers than just getting these new packs..there a lot of individual cards in the market that are waiting to be bought and used..I spent my first month just staying in bronze..Now I'm staying in silver (and I don't even get to silver everyday)..By december, I'm aiming to grind at gold..At this point, I'm still renting cards but slowly buying and building my decks..Don't get me wrong though cause I'm not a very good player(I really suck at being consistent..haha)..I have a lot to learn..I know that because I'm still learning from players like @Infidel1258 and @Bulldog1205 ..and I'm sure they already have videos about this news now..Seriously..If you're new like me, check out their youtube channels and see for yourselves..and if there are other players out there that vlog about this game, please comment your channels so I can subscribe to them..I love to hear different inputs from people regarding this game..

Let's not ruin this game..Do what we can to achieve higher ranks..Let's take action instead of just putting all the blame on the devs..In the end, this is just like life..you play with cards you're dealt and adjust accordingly.

Hello, @archangel528hz! This is @traciyork from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) curation team. We noticed you shared your first post here on Hive - congratulations and welcome! I'm sorry to hear you're having such a chaotic time with Splinterlands - I haven't played yet, so I can't offer you any good advice. I can only cross my fingers and hope maybe the private sale issues get sorted and the game can get back to being awesome for you.

As for the rest of our usual welcome message, it would also be awesome if you could do an introduction post, so our community can get to know you better. For information on how to write an intro post, please check out the SELF INTRODUCTION section of the post 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive.

Speaking of community, we have many different ones here on the blockchain, devoted to all kinds of interests. Here's a link so you can check them all out - Hive Communities . Since you're looking for a different game besides Splinterlands, maybe it would be helpful to browse the Hive Gaming Community to see what might interest you.

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

Since you're new, you may run into an RC (Resource Credits) error when trying to comment/post because you don't yet have enough Hive in your account yet. For assistance with a temporary delegation to get you started, be sure to check out the Gift Giver site.

For now, @lovesniper will follow your account and we are looking forward to seeing your intro post. Also, please mention (also known as tagging) @traciyork & @lovesniper in your intro post in order for us to be notified, so we can consider your post for OCD curation. Lastly, feel free to hop into the OCD Discord server if you have any questions!
