We're thrilled to announce the long-awaited Archmage V 3.1 update, packed with improvements and optimizations to enhance your gameplay experience. Let's dive into what we've completed, what you can expect in the short term, and what's on the horizon!

The Archmage's Evolution: A New Era of Power

The Archmage, after countless battles and tireless efforts, sensed a shift in the winds of fate. It was time for a change. As the sun set on the horizon, casting an eerie glow on the land, the Archmage retreated into their sanctum to forge a new path for their acolytes.

Within the confines of their ancient chamber, they worked tirelessly, the glow of their staff illuminating the room as their magical prowess flowed through them. The Archmage delved into the deepest wells of knowledge, unearthing forgotten secrets to refine and enhance their craft. They knew that their powers must evolve, and with them, the fortunes of the battle mages who relied on them.

Days turned to nights, and nights to days, as the Archmage toiled, driven by an unyielding desire for progress. At last, as the first light of dawn broke through the clouds, their work was complete. The Archmage emerged, their eyes alight with renewed vigor, ready to share their discoveries with the world.

A new era of power had begun, and with it, the potential for the Archmage and their loyal acolytes to conquer the most formidable challenges yet. The Archmage's evolution had unlocked untold potential, and now, with bated breath, the battle mages awaited the moment when they could unleash it upon their foes.

TL;DR 📝

  • Early indications show increased win rates/higher ratings for collections.
  • Helps to resolve recent issues with new rules/flees.
  • The bot will adapt more quickly in the future.

What We've Completed ✅

  • Enhanced battle data processing: Updates to how battle data is processed, increasing efficiency.
  • Upgraded hardware for data processing: Enhancements to the hardware used for data processing, increasing our ability to scale data acquisition, processing, and integration.
  • Faster battle data integration: Updates to how battle data is integrated into Archmage handfinder logic, resulting in increased speed of integration. Battle data has moved from periodic updates to continuous, near real-time integration. This will allow the service to adapt to changes much more quickly than previously possible.
  • Elegant data handling: Updates to how the handfinder leverages our extensive battle history library. Data is now handled more elegantly. For example, while Lux is still used often, it won't be overused as much.

What We're Seeing

  • Improved win rates and stability: Early results show a solid improvement in win rate compared to previous versions and major improvements in overall stability (i.e., drastically reduced weird teams and flees).
  • Limited testing: These tests are with a small sample size and with largely maxed decks. We're not positive how the updates will impact all users. We expect improvements but are unsure of the extent of them.

What to Expect in the Short Term

  • Rolling out improvements: Our next step is to roll out these improvements to all users to see the impacts across our user base. We'll then implement fine-tuning to dial in the server further and maximize results.
  • Additional hardware improvements: We'll introduce further hardware improvements to enhance results for specific cases where the improvements can impart a noticeable impact on win rates.

We hope you're as excited as we are about these updates!

Remember, your success is our success, so we're constantly working to improve Archmage for you.

If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to us in Discord.

See you on the Battlefield Battle Mages!

I've been using archmage before, but development is really slow. Most of the promised features haven't been implemented yet. Xbot has a lot more features without the added costs/ cut. Considering that xbot has only one developer vs archmage's lol.

If quantity of features and the speed of their rollout is what you value, Xbot is a great choice.

Archmage is focused on long term sustainability, stability, and ultimately keeping our winning edge as much as possible.

With these changes our users continue to be able to sit high on the Champion leaderboards and our other users continue to see their collections earn them a higher rating than alternatives from what we’ve seen.

Competition is a good thing :) we’ll keep focusing first on our core offering, making it the best it can be, and add features to that as we can.

I know that our model is setup to keep functioning into the future, I cannot say with the same confidence that other pricing models make for a sustainable service.

Xbot sets their cut at the front end, getting your money before they’ve proven themselves to you. We have a low entry cost and fight to earn our cut through each battle.
Costs $100 I believe to start with xbot today. Costs $20 to start with Archmage (a little more if we dont have retail tokens out) - we only get paid more if we help you win.
