Nerissa is beautiful, tanky and deadly. She has no special abilities and needs no special abilities. Her main strength is present already on level 1 : 3 magic damage and 9 health.
I would highlight here, that 3 magic damage is enough to hurt even enemies who have 1 silence and a magic shield. That is a massive advantage. On higher levels Djinn Oshannus beats her, as he has a higher health and - what is more important - the phase ability.
With increasing levels she mainly increases these stats, getting another magic damage at level 4 and level 6. So anytime you need a lot of health and a strong magic punch she is the card to choose.

The Fight

The new ruleset came into play. Unfortunately for my enemy the rules where not clear. As such we didn't know before the fight that the Equal Opportunity ruleset will be active. He built up a great defense with Lobstradamus and Djinn Oshannus and believed his magic damage players in the back will do enough damage to kill my cards. I had a similar strategy in mind, but had cards with lower health.

Due to the Equal Opportunity ruleset I could destroy my enemies back line in a few hits, and had to only fight against the two tanks with my cards.

At the end we got Lobstradamus and Djinn Oshannus against Nerissa Tridawn, Venari Wavesmith and Magi Of Chaos. 3 damage versus 4 damage and 1 health combined against 19 health.

My Venari Wavesmith was targeted by Djinn Oshannus and fell after 2 rounds, but the time was enough to cut down the health enough of Lobstradamus, and we had a 2:1 fight at the end. As we got also the Back to Basics ruleset the Djinn Oshannus lost his Magic Shield and was an easy target.

Nerissa is a fricken beast! One of my most used water magic cards to go along with Oshannus. However, I do want to get a Coral Wrath again. That is a useful card too. I don't get the setup of the team that used that card. I personally would have arranged things a tad differently. lol

I think it was because of the new rulesets and I tried this in the article as well. I was not sure that Equal Opportunity would come into affect as there was also the Back To Basics ruleset, and when I looked at the abilities of my creatures, then Back To Basics was displayed (normal abilities where grayed out, but Opportunity was not shown on those cards. ;)

Coral Wrath is a beast, too! I lost a lot of games because the enemy had that card!

Hii friend. Your battle is very good. You have selected the cards correctly and in the correct positions. I think lineup is very important thing to win any battle. I think you won this battle because of your line up because the opponent looks very strong. Thanks for sharing great battle great post.
