Proposal:

Development of an open source mobile gaming client

Purpose:

I strongly believe that Splinterlands should have a native mobile client for iOS and Android. And in the ethos of blockchains, it should ideally be open source, developed by the community for the community. With focus on delivering the best possible user experience, ensure both deck building and battles are simple and fun on handhelds. Innovate the process on onboarding new players to join and start playing.

Execution:

In the first two months, I plan to take 3 weeks off from my full-time job to build a minimum viable product (MVP) version with all the basic features and battle mode. During the following 10 months, I will continue working 2 days a week to add more features such as guilds and lands. For this I am asking for funding of $12000 with a total duration of 12 months at $1000 each month.

Background:

I have 10+ years of experience in mobile app and game development and have developed and maintained mobile apps and games with up to over 1 million downloads. I have a strong focus on user experience (UX) and performance, which has been a key factor in the success of my previous projects. As an active player of Splinterlands for over 2 years, I have a deep understanding of the game and its community. A "proof of concept" for the Splinterlands gaming client is already available on GitHub at https://github.com/SimonSchubert/Splinterlands-App.

Thank you for your reading trough the proposal. Please give me feedback so that I can adjust before I submit it.

The development of an open-source mobile gaming client can provide a unique opportunity for developers to create innovative gaming experiences while promoting collaboration and community involvement. By using open-source technology, developers can share their code, tools, and knowledge with others in the gaming community. Also, you can follow node js developer for hire and gain things about marketing. This can lead to the creation of more accessible and affordable games, as well as a more diverse selection of titles. Additionally, an open-source mobile gaming client can promote transparency and trust between developers and players.
