My earth team did awesome in Up Close and Personal ruleset.

I got a battle of 38 mana where I played a earth v water battle in p Close and Personal Ruleset and my strategy worked well there. Using Mylor Crowling as the summoner, I chose six earth monsters and fought a water team with four water monsters and two neutral monsters.

My Battle: Earth V Water = Battle Link.

My Lineup Strategy: I chose a earth team with total seven cards (A summoner card and 6 melee monster cards)

The battle was ruled by up close and personal ruleset and only units with melee attacks can be used for this ruleset. Total mana for the battle was 38. After choosing the summoner that wastes 3 mana, I chose Grund in level 2 for the 1st place that waste 10 mana and this unit attacks twice each round for its double strike ability.

Then I chose Oaken Behemoth in level 1 for the second position that may attack from the second position on the team for its reach ability and magic attacks hit this unit's armor before its health for its void armor ability, Goblin Thief in level 3 for the third position that targets the last unit on the enemy team instead of the first unit for its sneak ability.

Then I chose Screeching Vulture in level 3 for the fourth position that may attack from any position and will target the enemy unit with the lowest health for its opportunity ability and this monster has a 25% bonus chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from units who do not have the flying ability, Venari Scout in level 3 for the fifth position and has opportunity ability and Fungus Fiend for the last position in level 1.

Combat:

All friendly monsters got thorns ability from the rare summoner and thorns allows the unit to do 2 melee damage back to the attacker when the attacker is a melee monster. And the enemy monsters got one extra speed and one extra armor for all enemy monsters from their summoner.

Disintegrator of the enemy team decreased one melee damage of the first three friendly melee monsters who had 1+ melee damage.

The enemy Diemonshark took the first turn as it was the monster with the highest speed and my Grund lost two health for that damage and the enemy team lost two armor as well for the thorns ability my Grund had.

Then Pelacor Bandit damaged one health of my Fugus Fiend, Flying Squid damaged two health of my Grund and both the enemy monsters lost their armor for the thorns damage my monsters did. And my Oaken Behemoth then attacked for the first time and damaged two health of the opponent's Diemonshark with the magic damage and missed the melee damage and my Grund then attacked the same enemy monster with double strike ability and damaged total four armor.

Uraeus killed my Fungus Fiend with one melee damage but my Fungus Fiend damaged two armor of the enemy attacker before leaving the battle with the thorns damage.

My Goblin Thief then damaged one and only armor of the enemy Deeplurker and then both my Venari Scout and Screeching Vulture targeted the enemy Pelacor Bandit using opportunity as it was the monster with the lowest health and killed the enemy monster with the team work.

The enemy Deeplurker then killed my Screeching Vulture using opportunity where the enemy attacker lost two health as well from the thorns damage. Then the enemy Diemonshark attacked and damaged two health of my Grund again in a new round where the enemy monster lost two health as well for thorns damage and the same happened when the enemy Flying Squid attacked my Grund.
image.png
After my Oaken Behemoth tried to crack down the enemy Diemonshark and failed with the missed melee damage, my Grund then did a double attack and killed that enemy monster. And then Uraeus died after damaging one health of my Venari Scout as it got the thorns damage immediately which killed it.

Then my opportunist monsters targeted the enemy Deeplurker now and damaged two health out of four and Deeplurker then took a suicidal step where it killed my Grund and it died as well for the thorns damage from my Grund. The enemy Flying Squid then damaged two health of my Oaken Behemoth and the attacker itself lost two health for thorns.
image.png
My Oaken Behemoth then damaged three health of the enemy Flying Squid leaving the enemy monster with only one health and then my opportunist monster Venari Scout was about to kill that enemy monster but somehow the attack was a missed attack. The Flying Squid then died getting thorns damage in a new round when it damaged my Oaken Behemoth.

Then all my monsters damaged the armor and some health of the last enemy monster leaving it with two health when the enemy monster damaged two health of my Oaken Behemoth and the enemy monster lost its last two health from thorns damage and died and the battle was packed up in round 4.

End of the battle.

How's it? I'd like to get some honest opinions.
If anybody has any kinds of advice, suggestions on my game review/storytelling, I would be happy to receive them.
