Ruler of the Seas did Awesome in a Water V Fire Battle.

I got a battle of 24 mana where I played a water v fire battle in Standard Ruleset and my strategy worked well there. Using Alric Stormbringer as the summoner, I chose four water monsters and fought a fire team with three fire monsters and three neutral monsters.

My Battle: Fire V Water = Battle Link.

My Lineup Strategy: I chose a water team with total five cards (A summoner card and 4 magic monster cards)

The battle was ruled by standard ruleset and no modification happens in the standard gameplay rules and mechanics for this ruleset. Total mana for the battle was 24. After choosing the summoner that wastes 3 mana, I chose Djinn Oshannus in level 1 for the 1st place that waste 8 mana that reduce damage from magic attacks for its void ability.

Then I chose Ruler of the Seas in level 1 for the second position that does additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster for its blast ability and Venari Wavesmith in level 2 for the third position that protect all friendly monsters giving each of them +2 armor for its protect ability and Ice Pixie in level 2 for the last position and for its flying ability, it has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability.

Combat:

All friendly monsters gets one extra magic attack from the rare summoner that I used and I used only magic monsters in this battle. And the enemy team used a rare fire summoner that increased melee attack of all enemy monsters as all of them are melee monsters in that team and they got one extra health each also.

The enemy team chose one monsters with swiftness ability that increased the speed of all enemy monsters by 1. And there are two monsters with sneak ability in the enemy team and they'll target the last monster of my team instead of the first monster and there's a monster with opportunity ability that may attack from any position and will target my monster with the lowest health and that's Ice Pixie.

So, my Ice Pixie will be the main target of three enemy monsters for taking the last position and for heaving the lowest health. The last monster of the enemy team didn't have a chance to attack unless it goes to the first position.

The battle started and my Djinn Oshannus attacked Xenith Monk of enemy team and the enemy monster lost three health out of seven and the next attack from Xenith Monk of the enemy team damaged two armor of my Djinn Oshannus which looked like the enemy monster just tried to avenge his loss.

The enemy's Serpentine Spy then damaged the armor of my Ice Pixie that was given by Venari Wavesmith. And then my Ruler of the Seas attacked and damaged three health of Xenith Monk out of four with the magic damage and also damaged two health of the adjacent enemy monster with the blast damage. Then my monster with the lowest health, Ice Pixie damaged the last health of Xenith Monk and the enemy monster died.

Enemy's Uraeus then attacked and damaged two health of my Djinn Oshannus after stopped following the sneak ability as it was at the front at that moment. Tenyii Striker tried to kill my Ice Pixie but the pixie used flying ability and evaded the whole three melee damage and then this pixie killed Uraeus.

Clockwork Aide of the enemy team was at the first position now with seven armor and two health and its don't attacks. As I chose only magic monsters for my team, armor was not something my monsters give a s***. My Djinn Oshannus attacked and killed the clockwork ignoring the big armor. And now Serpentine Spy comes to front which means my Ice Pixie in the bit more safe side now and if the next attack kills this enemy spy then my Ice Pixie should live long. Let's see what happens.

After Clockwork Aide of the enemy team died, the extra speed of the remaining enemy monsters were disappeared so they're slower now. My Ruler of the Seas then attacked and killed the Serpentine Spy and also blasted two health of the next enemy monster Tenyii Striker and this monster now goes to the front place which means my Ice Pixie is saved.

Then my Ice Pixie and Venari Wavesmith damaged total four health of the enemy Tenyii Striker and that enemy monster then damaged three health of my Djinn Oshannus.

Then there was the third round where my Djinn Oshannus attacked and killed the enemy Tenyii Striker as well and the next/last enemy monster Radiated Scorcher goes to the front position and got the chance to do some attack IF, if it stays alive. And that didn't happen as my Ruler of the Seas took the last shot and killed this enemy monster as well and the battle was packed up in round 3.

End of the battle.

How's it? I'd like to get some honest opinions.
If anybody has any kinds of advice, suggestions on my game review/storytelling, I would be happy to receive them.
