Calabesh Sage is a very good monster card that is available at a very reasonable price. If you look at its powers and abilities you will be surprised because it offers excellent value despite being so cheap.

Today let's learn about its special powers, abilities and its current market price.

Firstly, lets discuss its visual appearance. It looks like a seahorse character wearing battle armor. In one hand it is holding a bag of chemicals and in the other hand it is carrying a pot filled with fire that is ready to throw it at the enemy. Its design is very attractive and immediately caught my attention.

This is a 10 mana monster card which I think is its biggest disadvantage. The higher the mana cost, the harder it becomes to use in low mana battles because it limits your monster selection. This monster is much more suitable for medium to high mana battles. However in some situations it can still be useful in low mana battles.

It is a Ranged Attack monster with 5 ranged attack power at the maximum level. This means it can deal 5 damage to the enemy every round. Since it is a ranged attacker it is better not to place it in the front position. Instead keep it in the middle of your team so that he can survive for the longer time.

A good thing about this monster is that it has 3 Armor which helps protect its health. It can absorb damage for several rounds. It also has 8 Health giving it good durability. If we combine its Armor and Health it should be able to survive for around 3 to 4 rounds in most battles.

Its biggest weakness is its Speed which is only 1. This means it attacks slower than most other monsters. Because of its low speed enemy monsters are also more likely to hit it.

At Level 10 it has three powerful abilities such as Shield, Tank Heal and True Strike. These abilities make Calabesh Sage a very dangerous and defensive monster.

SHIELD

The first ability is Shield. This ability works as to defend from melee attacks. It reduces every melee attack by 50%.

If an enemy monster attacks with 4 damage, this monster will only receive 2 damage while the other 2 damage is blocked by Shield. This helps protect both its Armor and Health allowing it to survive much longer.

TANK HEAL

The second ability is Tank Heal. There are two types of healing abilities in Splinterlands. One is a normal heal that restores the monster itself while Tank Heal restores the health of the friendly monster in the first position.

Every round, it restores one-third of that monster's maximum Health. This shows that Calabesh Sage is also a strong support monster for your team.

TRUE STRIKE

The final ability is True Strike. This ability makes sure that its attacks never miss. This is a huge advantage because it has 5 ranged attack power. Since every attack lands successfully, it deals heavy damage every round and can eliminate enemy monsters one by one.

Considering its powerful stats and abilities I think its price is very reasonable.

PRICE AND RENTING

Now let's talk about its price. At this moment, a Level 1 card is available on the market for around $0.016 which is very cheap...

If you continue upgrading it then a Level 5 version can be purchased for less than $1. Upgrading it all the way to Level 10 may cost you around $2.

If you prefer renting instead of buying, you can rent this monster for around 1 to 37 DEC per day.

It is an affordable rental card and after adding it to your deck, you can make full use of its excellent powers and abilities.
