In #Splinterlands, Some players get confused about whether they should buy battle cards or not especially when they are beginners. This is definitely a good question for them because they want to first learn the game and understand it properly before investing.

So that their investment does not get wasted. For such players there is a very good option and that is card rentals. If you are fond of battles in Splinterlands and want to play and after playing many practice matches you understand the gameplay like how to select monsters and how to place them in the best way then yes, card rentals are a great option for you.

As soon as you open Splinterlands, on the left side at the top you will see the option of card rent. Here you can either take cards on rent or give your cards on rent.

This is not only a good source of earning but also a great way to help each other so players can use monsters in a better way. The main idea of card rental is that you keep your preferred and best monsters and pay rent daily in DEC.

If I tell you about the price of card rental you will be surprised and may start renting cards immediately. Its price is very lo, meaning you may pay around $0.0001 on a daily basis.

This is a very small amount and every card has a different rent which is also very low. For example if you take around 50 cards on rent you may pay about $0.1 daily. In return when you have these cards you can use these monsters in battle properly and with every win you keep getting SPS or DEC rewards.

The benefit is that the rewards you get from every win can be used to pay back the rentand if you play more games you can even get extra profit. As you can see one highlighted card is “Living Berm.”

This is a very strong monster with a mana cost having 10.. Its best abilities are its attack power and armor. If you place it in the middle position it keeps attacking and also absorbs enemy damage.

Now the question is if we take this card on rent how much DEC do we have to pay daily? You will need to pay around 19 to 30 DEC daily which is about $0.001 - $0.004 . This is a very reasonable amount for any player who wants to rent and use it effectively.

This is the simple method of card renting. I hope this post helped you understand it clearly and your vision about renting is now clear.

Card rentals is good and it is a way of supporting one to be able to compete very well especially in modern ranked battles and wild.

But one thing is, if you are renting you must consider your Summoner.Your summoner must be able to summon that rented card with all its abilities intact. If the statistics of your rented card is more than your summoner you won't enjoy all the abilities of that card.

I for one, since I have good upgraded archons(summoners),I go for high level rented card as well. From level 2 upwards, that is where you would really enjoy the card.Like you said you must be able to position your rented card in battles.Be it melee, ranged or magic attack card for winning streaks.
Lastly, the proceeds which is SPS,MERITS, GLINTS AND CARDS FROM UNLOCKED LEVELS,can get you back the amount of DEC you spend in renting these card(s). Have a wonderful day Sir.

Well said bro.. Choosing the right summoner for your rented cards is key to getting full value of the card. Higher level cards really shine when matched properly and with good strategy you can definitely earn back your rental costs.

Very nice article, thanks for sharing. I remember when I was still renting to get started in this game. Now I have a rental account that I use to help new players. You can check for deals @gigacrypto!
