Close Fight but Not Enough Cards || Need To Rent Some More Cards

Before playing Splinterlands battles, the important thing you should keep in mind is that you must have enough cards so you can play the battle easily. As I explained yesterday in a detailed post about the rental system how you can rent cards and how you can use them in battle.
Cards play a very important role in battles. Right now I have a total of four cards which are very few to win a battle. So I need either to buy more cards or rent some good monsters that I understand are strong.
Today I thought to play a ranked battle and see how my cards perform. My cards are good but because they are few, in high mana battles I cannot fill all slots which does not give me a good team combination.

Today I got a 45 mana battle. If it was a low mana battle I could have won with my monsters cards even they are few but because it was a high mana battle I only had four cards and the remaining mana was wasted.
When the battle started my monster cards performed very well especially Dread Trafarin who survived for a long time and eliminated two to three enemy monsters. But as I said my cards were few and the opponent had more cards so I lost the battle.

The main point is that if you have fewer monster cards you should first buy cards or rent them so you can win battles. With every win there is reward for you.
Also keep in mind that this is a play2earn game. After every win you get rewards which you can sell or convert into any token. With these rewards you can also buy more cards from the market which is a very good option.

If I talk about one important card I have, it is Aurelia. It is a monster card that gives +1 health to its allied unit in every round. If it levels up it can give around +3 to +4 health every round which is very strong support. You can check this card and learn more about it.
The next card I have is Dire Bear which belongs to a mundane beast. It is really a strong tank monster considered in my team combination. Dire Bear mana cost is 10 whose health is 7 and have three other abilities which makes it more dangerous.

The fourth card is Mad GearHead which belongs to Goblin and she is also another strong monster. She has a reach ability that can use melee attacks from the second position. These are the four monster cards which I am using in my team combination but I need to extend it to further 10 more cards so that I can place monsters in the battle accordingly.
I hope you guys will like this post and is interesting as well. If you find it informative then dont forget to give me a support. Share you reviews in the comment section below. Thank you all for your time reading the content.

Mr @asgharali let me share this with you.
When I started splinterlands,i played the campaign mode just like you did.Got some very few cards but not enough. You know what i did I bought the one time $10 SPELLBOOK also called the summoner spellbook. It gives you full access pass for splinterlands.
It turns your free-to-play account into a fully featured one with true ownership of your cards, earning potential, and the ability to trade/sell stuff on the marketplace.
The Spellbook unlocks full permanent ownership of everything you've already earned in Campaign + Frontier. Before that, the cards and rewards are "bound" or soulbound (you can use them but can't trade, sell, or fully control them).
You also instantly get bonuses with the Spellbook purchase:
Now your Foundations cards (the ones for Frontier) are fully yours forever. You can upgrade them, combine duplicates, use them in more ways, and even sell/trade if you want later.
In short: The Spellbook doesn't "give" you the Frontier cards directly (those come from Campaign + daily Frontier wins), but it unlocks true ownership, trading, full rewards, and the bonus packs/credits that make everything feel like it exploded with cards and upgrade potential. It's the single best upgrade for new players who like the game and want to play seriously.
Those 3,000 credits can be used wisely (renting a full set is often smarter than buying at first) and keep grinding Frontier for more Foundations cards/packs. Enjoy the game.
Mr. Zusi, thanks a lot for sharing a brief detail about your Splinterlands career. How did you buy Spellbook? It really added to my information. It's my first week playing the Splinterlands and I am learning a lot. I don't have enough information about this game but I am enjoying from the cards and the practice battles I play. One thing surprising for me is that I am learning about this game very quickly, especially if I talk about monsters I get to know about their powers, how to place them in the right positions, what battles are good for which kind of mana battle, and many more.
Yeah, I know about Spellbook that it costs around $10 but I'm not buying myself because I need to learn about this game first before investing any amount of money. One thing I want to know from you that if I buy a Spellbook and after that I invest some good amount of money buying new monster cards, leveling up.. will I earn good income after playing Splinterland battles? What will be the APR earning if I play this game? If I play more battles in a day, what could be the earning APR? I will be glad to get your reply. Thanks a lot.
It is not instant Pal,like you use to teach about Script and Colony, tokens in arcade colony. You start enjoying dividends in the long term. For me I stayed a long time having fun in frontier ranked, winning victories and gradually upgrading my foundation cards for almost three months. It was last month I started playing modern, because I felt I have strong enough upgraded foundation cards mixed with conclave arcana and rebellion cards to compete.Which I would say I am enjoying the benefits. But what I am saying is its long term for me.Patience, determination and consistency. You can just be playing the frontier ranked and be upgrading. With what you have,it would be hard for you to compete in modern, wild or survival battles. If you don't want that, you just have to spend some money and buy some packs.Anyway,I am just 5months old in splinterlands,I am still learning as well.Do have a great day.
Bundle of thanks...
You are welcome 🤗, I always love anything that involves splinterlands, the battle part and the investment side as well.
This was when I bought my SPELLBOOK
It means that if I don't have a spellbook, I can't even transfer any amount to the Hive engine or I can't even buy other cards, isn't that?
Thanks for sharing! - @mango-juice
