There are some monsters in Splinterlands that are extremely aggressive and their attack power is so powerful that all of the opponent’s enemy units look helpless against them. Today I am going to discuss one such monster. Whenever this monster appears in battle the enemy opponent becomes nervous because their units struggle to stand against it.

Today I will talk about Esper Shadowbeak which is an incredibly dangerous monster. Looking at its visual appearance it looks like a warrior character with an eagle like beak which is my favorite part, wearing battle armor, holding a sharp spear in one hand while carrying magical power on the other hand..

Its appearance clearly shows that it is in an aggressive mode and wants to deal continuous damage by attacking multiple times in a single round.

Because it belongs to the Fire element you can see a beautiful fiery background surrounding the character. It also appears to be holding two different powers which symbolizes its ability to strike enemy units with two types of attacks. This visual display perfectly defines the characters aggressive nature and that is what makes it so interesting.

If we look at its stats it is a 9 mana cost NFT card making it an excellent choice for medium to high mana battles while in low mana battles it may struggle a bit. This monster belongs to the Fire element and at level 4 it has five different powers along with four abilities.

There are very few such monsters that have that much of powers and abilities or if there are, you will find it at expensive price in the market but this card is still reasonable in the market and I will discuss it in the coming paragraphs in this content.

It also has 2 armor which protects its health. This means that melee and ranged attacks will hit the armor first before damaging its health except for magic attacks which directly affect health.

Many players still do not fully understand the difference between normal attacks and magic attacks. One important thing to clarify is that melee or ranged attacks will always destroy the armor first before reaching the health. However magic attacks directly hit the health without being affected by any kind of armor.

This is the reason why magic attackers are considered far more dangerous in battles. Monsters with magic attack power are also usually more expensive compared to monsters that only have melee or ranged attacks.

The monster also has 7 health which is excellent in any battle because it allows the monster to survive for a long time. Aggressive monsters become more dangerous the longer they stay alive on the battlefield. Along with that it has 6 speed which increases its attack speed and also helps it dodge enemy attacks.

The most important thing I want to discuss about this monster card is its magic attack and melee attack powers. You rarely see monsters that have 2-3 types of attacks such as melee, magic and ranged. These are considered highly aggressive monsters.

The benefit of this is that in every round it can attack the enemy with a combined power of +6. Since it has a magic attack, part of its damage directly targets the enemys health bypassing armor.

Meanwhile its melee attack destroys the enemys armor first. So if an enemy monster has both armor and health this monster can damage both in every round making it an extremely powerful card.

Now lets talk about some of its excellent abilities. At level 4 it gains abilities like Flying, Shatter, Determined and Fireswing. Looking at these powers and abilities this monster becomes a very important addition to any deck.

If I talk about its market price currently it starts from around $1.9 and can go up to around $30 depending on its level. Personally I prefer aggressive monster cards especially those with magic attack power because magic attacks bypass armor and directly damage health.
