As I told you yesterday exploring a campaign in Splinterlands is extremely important for a new player. The main reason is that it helps you properly understand the game, you learn which card to use in which battle, their best positions and other basic concepts.

Yesterday after completing Chapter 3 I received a Splinter Monster card as a reward called “Kicking Roc.” Today I thought I will explain its stats and abilities, what abilities it gets at different levels and also share its market price whether its really worth that price or not.

First of all you need to go to the market then open card sales and search for this monster by typing “Kicking Roc.” Once you open the card you will be able to see its stats, abilities and price.

Lets start with its mana cost which is 8 and is quite reasonable. This means you can easily select it in mid to high mana battles. However in low mana battles it becomes difficult to use because its mana cost is relatively high.

If I talk about its health, it has 5 health which is quite decent. If you place it in the backline and protect it properly it can survive for a good amount of time and make effective use of its abilities.

keep in mind that units which are of range attacks and which are supportive must be given a good protection because the longer they survive in the battle the more damage they give to the enemy units. Therefore it is necessary to keep them protected for the long time during the battle.

Its speed is 2 which will help him and his allied units to attack quickly. Its most notable feature and the reason for its popularity is its ranged attack which is 3. This means if you place it in the mid or backline it will consistently deal 3 damage to enemy units every round.

At Level 1 it has the same stats I just mentioned.
At Level 2 there is only one change and that is its health increases from 5 to 6.
At Level 3 again there is no major change except its health increases from 6 to 7. It does not gain any special abilities like Sneak, Snipe or others.

Now lets talk about its price. As you can see in the screenshot its lowest price in the market is just 1 cent for Level 1. Level 2 and Level 3 are available for around 9 cents which is very reasonable.

Many people might wonder why its so cheap. The main reason is that even after upgrading there are no significant improvements in its stats or abilities. It remains almost the same up to Level 3 and cannot be upgraded further.

So it mainly works as a basic ranged attack monster, useful in normal battles but in tougher battles against strong opponents it may not perform very well.
