A monster that many Splinterlands players are looking for is a monster that is reasonably priced but has excellent powers and abilities. At first glance its mana cost is low and if we talk about health it is almost nothing because it has only 1 health.

Even then this monster has caught my attention. Why do I like it so much and why do I want to discuss it?? Let's find out in this content. Its very interesting and working monster in any kind of battle.

The monster card I want to talk about today is Thanalorian Scion from the Water element. If I talk about its visual appearance it looks like a female warrior wearing battle armor. Her ears are long and pointed that makes her appearance even more good. Also her hairs are long and beautiful which makes another beauty in her appearance.

In one hand she is controlling a wave of water while with the other hand she is releasing magical energy.. She is looking angrily at her enemies and seems ready to attack them with powerful magic.. Now let's talk about its stats and abilities.

This is a 5 mana monster card which means it can be used in low, medium and high mana battles. It is a flexible card that can fit into many battle situations.

The most impressive thing about this monster is its 11 Armor at Level 6. Very few monsters have such high armor. However when we look at its health it has only 1 Health. Many players may wonder why it has such high armor but only 1 health.

The answer is its special ability called Void Armor. This ability forces enemy Magic attackers to damage the armor first instead of directly attacking health. Because of this the monster becomes much more durable than its 1 health suggests.

It also has 1 Speed and 1 Magic Attack. As a Magic attacker it deals direct damage to enemy health every round. Its magic attacks are especially effective against monsters that do not have Void Armor.

Many players wonder about its best position because it has massive armor but only 1 health. In my opinion the best position for this monster is in the middle of the lineup. It should not be used as a secondary tank or placed at the very back. The middle position allows you to take full advantage of its armor and magic attack.

Now let's discuss its three special abilities.

Corrosive Ward

This ability is very dangerous for Melee attackers. Whenever a Melee monster attacks this unit the attackers maximum armor is reduced by 2 points after every successful attack, it also depends on how much hit comes from enemy unit..

For example if an enemy monster has 6 armor and attacks this monster then its armor will drop to 4. If it attacks again the armor will drop to 2. Eventually its armor will be completely removed.

Void Armor

As mentioned earlier this ability prevents Magic attacks from hitting health directly. Magic damage must first destroy the armor before it can affect health.

For example if a monster has 4 armor and 5 health, enemy magic attacks will damage the armor first. Only after the armor is gone will the health start taking damage.

True Strike

This is probably its best ability. With True Strike, attacks never miss. No matter how fast the enemy is whether it has Dodge, Flying or other evasion abilities still this monster will land its hit successfully.

These abilities make this monster very dangerous and valuable in battles.

Considering its strong abilities and overall power I believe it is a great buying opportunity if you can get it for around $11 to $15. Because of its low mana cost it can be used in many different battle formats and is a useful addition to almost any collection.

If a player cannot afford to buy it they can easily rent it for around 28.789 DEC per day which is still a good option for having this card in your deck and take the best advantage of it. Overall it is a powerful and versatile monster that can provide great value in many Splinterlands battles.
