Dragon splinter is one among the six splinters of splinterlands. Like all other splinters, the dragon splinter also has some fantastic monsters (mostly dragons) inside it and there are some great monsters in the dragon splinter that the splinterlands players like too much, I believe. This is the second time we're having "Dragons" as the weekly battle challenge theme and I really enjoyed both times battling with the dragons. This time, I've used six monsters where four of em are from the dragon splinter are the rest two are from the neutral splinter that needed only 1 mana and I bet if you're a regular player of splinterlands then you'd be able to guess what are the neutral monsters that I used alongside with the dragons. Yaaaaaasssss, that's the Furious Chicken and the Creeping Ooze that we always try to use on the battlefield and we do whenever we find a scope to.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 25 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the dragon splinter and my opponent used the water splinter against me.

I had Djinn Chwala in level 1, Manticore in level 1, Furious Chicken in level 1, Creeping Ooze in level 1, Dragon Jumper in level 1 & Naga Assassin in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Spineback Turtle in level 1, Medusa in level 1, Elven Mystic in level 1, Enchanted Pixie in level 1, Ice Pixie in level 1 & Water Elemental in level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Djinn Chwala ^{EPIC Dragon Monster}

---

This is a dragon monster with big shields and health. I guess, this monster uses the big weapon that's in the right hand as the shield and that's why it gets the big shield. It's a melee monster that offers the "Thorns" ability from the very beginning level which makes it more powerful, I believe. With big mana like 8, this monster is a good fit in the big mana ruleset.

I've used Djinn Chwala in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed,52 shields, 9 health with the "Thorns" ability and it needs 8 mana.

No 02: Manticore ^{(Epic Dragon Monster)}

Manticore is one of my favorite monsters in dragon splinter. I can't think of any other melee attacker with "Reach" ability than Manticore when I play with dragon splinter in a small mana ruleset. This monster is a great fit for the second position because having the "Reach" ability and it offers both "Reach" & "Flying" ability from the very first level. Manticore looks like a cross breed of a lion, a scorpion, and a flying dragon.

I've used Manticore in level 1 with 1 melee attack, 3 speed, 6 health with "Flying & Reach" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

No 03: Furious Chicken ^{(Rare Neutral Monster)}

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

No 04: CREEPING OOZE ^{(COMMON Neutral Monster)}

The 1-mana neutral monster that's been taking a place almost in every player's heart, I guess.

It has the "Slow" ability which decreases the speed of every monster of the opponent team.

I used my Creeping Ooze in level 1 with 1 speed & 1 health with "Slow" ability and it needs 1 mana for battle.

No 05: Dragon Jumper ^{(Legendary Dragon Monster)}

This is another monster from the dragon splinter that I should say something good about. Every time I see this monster I remember the kid and the dragon from "How to train your dragon" animation. This monster is just a mirror of that kid and the dragon. I've not played with this monster for a long time since it was born in splinterlands. Then one day I thought of using this monster and then I became a fan of this monster after seeing his fantastic battle. Besides this monster can be used at any position even after being a melee monster cause it has the "Opportunity" ability which allows attacking from any position.

I've used Dragon Jumper is in level 1 with 3 melee attacks, 5 speed, 6 health with "Flying & Opportunity" abilities, and it needs 8 mana for the battle.

No 06: Naga Assassin ^{(RARE Dragon Monster)}

I'm starting to like this blonde naga assassin, especially for its look. She has good speed and needs only 2 mana to show off her skills on the battlefield. Being a ranged attacker, she uses her tiny knives to attack the opponents from a far place. The Naga Assassin offers the "Backfire" ability from the 4^th level which helps this monster backfire with 2 damage to the opponent who misses this monster with an attack.

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 ranged attack, 5 speed & 4 health, and it needs 2 mana to join a battle.

For the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent's magic monsters got +1 magic attacks each and my summoner didn't have anything to offer. Then for the special "Slow" ability of my Creeping Ooze, 5 of my opponent's monsters lost 1 speed each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my Naga Assassin started the battle with its first attack on my opponent's Spineback Turtle and destroyed 1 shield with the starting shot. Then my Dragon Jumper attacked and killed my opponent's Enchanted Pixie for good. Then after my opponent's Water Elemental attacked and destroyed 3 shields of my Djinn Chwala, my Manticore then attacked and destroyed the remaining shield of the opponent's Spineback Turtle. Then my opponent's Ice Pixie attacked and killed 2 health of my Djinn Chwala and then my Djinn Chwala attacked and killed 2 health of my opponent's Spineback Turtle. Then my opponent's Elven Mystic, Medusa, and Spineback Turtle one after another attacked my Djinn Chwala and killed a total of 4 health and destroyed 1 shield as well although the last attack of Spineback Turtle enabled the "Thorns" of my Djinn Chwala and the Spineback Turtle lost 2 health.

My Naga Assassin and Dragon Jumper one after another attacked and killed the opponent's Spineback Turtle for good at the beginning of a new round and the opponent's Medusa came forward to the first position. Then after my opponent's Water Elemental attacked and destroyed the remaining shields of my Djinn Chwala, my Manticore then attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Medusa. Then after my opponent's Ice Pixie attacked and killed 2 health of my Djinn Chwala, my Djinn Chwala then attacked and killed the opponent's Medusa for good and the next thing that happened was my opponent's Elven Mystic attacked and killed my Djinn Chwala for good and my Manticore came forward to the first position.

There came a new round where my Naga Assassin first attacked and killed only 1 health of my opponent's Elven Mystic. Then my Dragon Jumper threw its big melee towards the opponent's Ice Pixie and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield right away. Then my opponent's Water Elemental attacked and killed 2 health of my Manticore, my Manticore then attacked and killed 1 health of my opponent's Elven Mystic and the Elven Mystic returned the favor by killing 2 health of my Manticore. There came another round and the first thing my Naga Assassin did was kill the opponent's Elven Mystic and the Water Elemental came forward to the first position. My Dragon Jumper attacked and killed 3 health of the opponent monster out of 4. Then the Water Elemental healed itself with 2 health. My Manticore then attacked and killed 1 health of that last opponent monster. There came another new round, my Naga Assassin attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent monster out of 2. Then my Dragon Jumper threw its big melee and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield for good.

The battle finished in round 5 while my team had 5 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
