Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with Pelacor Mercenary.

Pelacor Mercenary (COMMON Earth Monster).

Pelacor Descent 1 of 4 - On the distant floating continent known as Solaki, the sons of the sun have lived for hundreds of years since the great Splintering. For those who know of its existence in the Splinterlands, Solaki is also sometimes known as the sun splinter. Life in the Splinterlands has never been easy, as anyone living there can tell you, but it has been a picnic compared to the average life on the floating continent.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 23 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the fire splinter and my opponent also used the life splinter against me.

My Lineup.

I had Pelacor Mercenary at the 1st position, Orc Sergeant with "Reach" ability at the 2nd position, Furious Chicken at the 3rd position, Creeping Ooze at the 4th position, Barking Spider at the 5th position & Earth Elemental at the last position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Unicron Mustang at the 1st position, Goblin Thief at the 2nd position, Mantoid at the 3rd position & Failed Summoner at the last position.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Pelacor Mercenary (COMMON Earth Monster).

I used my Pelacor Mercenary in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 1 shield & 8 health with "Flying" ability and it needs 7 mana to battle.

No 02: Orc Sergeant (Common Earth Monster)

This is a nice orc from the earth splinter that can be used both in big mana and small mana battles and it can be a great supporter for some battles. As it's a melee attacker with "Reach" ability, so it's better to be used in the second position so that it can attack smoothly.

I used my Orc Sergeant in level 1 with 1 melee attack, 2 speeds, 6 health with "Reach" ability and it needs 5 mana to play.

No 03: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

No 04: CREEPING OOZE (COMMON Neutral Monster)

The 1-mana neutral monster that's been taking a place almost in every player's heart, I guess.

It has the "Slow" ability which decreases the speed of every monster of the opponent team.

I used my Creeping Ooze in level 1 with 1 speed & 1 health with "Slow" ability and it needs 1 mana for battle.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 05: Barking Spider (Common Earth Monster)

This is a ranged attacker of earth splinter with blind ability at level 6 which I try to use almost in every battle that I play with earth splinter and if it's available for that battle.

I've used Barking Spider in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed & 4 health and it needs 4 mana to do a battle.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 06: Earth Elemental (Rare Earth Monster)

If you're a fan of the Marvel cinematic universe then you should've remembered the character "Groot" after seeing this monster as they're so similar with their looks. Every time I used to do a battle using the earth splinter, I tried to use this monster as I got nice support from this monster. I had this monster at a higher level before when it had better powers and now when it's in a lower level with fewer powers, still it's proving to be a nice asset. Its "Heal" ability is what makes it far better and that ability unlocks at level 4 with 11 cards.

I've used Earth Elemental in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 1 speed, 6 health and it needs 3 mana to play.

For the special buff of my summoner, all my monsters got the "Thorns" ability, and for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent monsters got +1 health each. Then for the special "Slow" ability of my Creeping Ooze, all the opponent monsters lost 1 speed each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my opponent's Unicorn Mustang started the battle with the first attack and destroyed the shield of my Pelacor Mercenary with the starting shot, and then my Pelacor Mercenary used the "Thorns" and killed 2 health of its first attacker. Then my Barking Spider, Orc Sergeant, Pelacor Mercenary, and Earth Elemental one after another attacked and killed a total of 5 health of the opponent's Unicorn Mustang while the opponent team had nothing to do but watch. Then my opponent team started attacking again and the opponent's Mantoid first grilled my chicken. Then the opponent's Goblin Thief attacked and killed 2 health of my Earth Elemental and in return, my Earth Elemental used the "Thorns" and killed 2 health of the opponent's Goblin Thief as well.

There came a new round and the opponent's Unicorn Mustang first attacked and killed 3 health of my Pelacor Mercenary with a single shot and my Pelacor Mercenary returned the favor by using the "Thorns" and killed 2 health of the opponent's Unicorn Mustang as well. Then my Barking Spider and Orc Sergeant one after another attacked the opponent's Unicorn Mustang and after losing the rest of the health, the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield immediately and the opponent's Goblin Thief then came forward to the first position to face his fate. My Pelacor Mercenary then threw its melee attack towards the opponent's Goblin Thief and the opponent monster had nothing to do but leave the battlefield without saying a thing. The opponent's Mantoid came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position. Now the opponent had 2 monsters where one can't attack for being a ranged monster at the first position and another one didn't have any attack power unless the "Magic Reflect" ability which allows the monster to return back the attack after getting hit by a magic attacker but the fortunate thing is that I didn't have any magic monster on the battlefield which means the opponent monsters have to get killed without saying a word. Then my Earth Elemental attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Mantoid. Then there came another new round and this time my team started with the first shot. My Barking Spider and Pelacor Mercenary one after another attacked and killed 3 health of the opponent's Mantoid.

Then my Orc Sergeant and Earth Elemental one after another attacked and killed the opponent's Mantoid for good and the opponent's only monster Failed Summoner came forward to the first position who didn't have any attack power unless the "Magic Reflect" ability. After the Failed Summoner came forward to the first position, there came a new round again which was the last round actually. First my Barking Spider, then my Pelacor Mercenary, then my Orc Sergeant, and at last my Earth Elemental one after another kept attacking the opponent's last monster and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield quietly declaring my victory.

The battle finished in round 4 while my team had 5 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield except the chicken did nothing.
