Pirate Captain (COMMON Water Monster).

The Pirates of ΛZMΛRÉ are not to be trusted. Their Captains are among the most cunning (and dangerous) creatures in the Splinterlands. Armed with muskets of secret ΛZMΛRÉan make and prepared for any situation, the Pirate Captains sail the seas looking for treasure.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 29 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the water splinter and my opponent also used the life splinter against me.

My Lineup.

I had Sea Monster with melee attack and "Heal" ability at the 1st position, Wave Runner with "Reach" ability at the 2nd position, Creeping Ooze with "Slow" ability at the 3rd position, Medusa with magic attack at the 4th position, Pirate Captain with ranged attack and "Snipe" ability at the 5th position & Water Elemetnal with ranged attack and "Heal" ability at the last position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Clay Golem with magic attack and "Void" ability at the 1st position, Truthspeaker with "Protect" ability at the 2nd position, Herbalist with ranged attack at the 3rd position, Lone Boatman with ranged attack and "Snipe" ability at the 4th position, Peacebringer with ranged attack at the 5th position & Mantoid with ranged attack and "Snipe" ability at the last position.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Sea Monster (Common Water Monster)

I don't play with the water splinter that much but whenever I used to play with this splinter, I knew that Sea Monster should be at the front position as with its great power, it can take great responsibility. I think, with proper strategy, this monster can be a great asset, especially in the big mana cap battle. Having the"Heal" ability unlocked at the first level, this monster can be a nice supporter for the team with its big melee attack. Its "Heal" ability helps it to restore a portion of the monster's health each round which unlocks at level 1 with 1 card.

I've used Sea Monster in level 1 which offers me 4 melee attacks, 1 speed & 8 health with "Heal" ability and it needs 8 mana to play.

No 02: Wave Runner (Common Water Monster)

Wave Runner is that kind of shark that can leap out of the water with a powerful swipe of its tail and bring giant birds and dragons alike into the water. The Wave Runner is a water monster with the "Reach" ability from the first level that allows it to attack from the second position even after being a melee monster. This monster can be a perfect supporter and holder of the second position while it comes to play with the water splinter.

I've used Wave Runner in level 1 which offers me 2 melee attacks, 3 speed & 4 health with the "Reach" ability and it needs 5 mana to play.

No 03: CREEPING OOZE (COMMON Neutral Monster)

The 1-mana neutral monster that's been taking a place almost in every player's heart, I guess.

It has the "Slow" ability which decreases the speed of every monster of the opponent team.

I used my Creeping Ooze in level 1 with 1 speed & 1 health with "Slow" ability and it needs 1 mana for battle.

No 04: Medusa (RARE Water Monster)

Every water-breather in ΛZMΛRÉ knows that Gorgons live in their waters. A simple trip to the ocean floor reveals the statues of the unfortunate Merfolk who crossed the path of a Gorgon. Medusa is the only Gorgon to reveal herself to others without turning them to stone. At least they have a choice.

I've used Medusa in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speed & 3 health with the "Snipe" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

No 05: Pirate Captain (COMMON Water Monster)

The Pirates of ΛZMΛRÉ are not to be trusted. Their Captains are among the most cunning (and dangerous) creatures in the Splinterlands. Armed with muskets of secret ΛZMΛRÉan make and prepared for any situation, the Pirate Captains sail the seas looking for treasure.

I've used Pirate Captain in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed & 3 health with the "Snipe" ability and it needs 3 mana to play.

No 06: Water Elemental (Rare Water Monster)

This is the second-best health healer of the water splinter that I used so far while the Sea Monster should be the 1st place holder. Water Elemental looks like the sandman of Spider-Man movie but with water. It looks scary and it has nice power. Water Elemental needs 5 mana for battle and I'm using this monster in level 1 to share a battle. My Water Elemental is in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 4 speed & 4 health.

For the special buff of my summoner, all my monsters got the "Snare" ability, and for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent monsters got +1 health each. Then for the special "Slow" ability of my Creeping Ooze, all the opponent monsters lost 1 speed each. And for the special "Protect" ability of my opponent's Truthspeaker, all the opponent monsters got +1 shield each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my Water Elemental started the battle with the first attack and destroyed the whole shield of my opponent's Clay Golem with the starting shot, and then my Wave Runner attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Clay Golem. Then my Medusa attacked the opponent's Clay Golem but nothing happened and then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed 2 health of my Sea Monster. After my Pirate Captain attacked and destroyed 1 shield of the opponent's Truthspeaker, then the opponent's Herbalist attacked and killed 1 health of my Sea Monster. Then the opponent's Lone Boatman threw its lasso towards my Creeping Ooze and my Creeping Ooze then had to leave the battlefield and all the opponents that were lost their speed because of the "Slow" ability of my Creeping Ooze, got their speed back. Then the opponent Mantoid attacked and killed 2 health of my Medusa and then the opponent's Clay Golem attacked and killed 3 health of my Sea Monster. And then, at last, my Sea Monster healed itself with 2 health and attacked and killed 4 health of the opponent's Clay Golem.

There came a new round where my Water Elemental first threw its ranged attack towards the opponent's Clay Golem and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield for good and the opponent's Truthspeaker then came forward to the first position. Then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed 2 health of my Sea Monster. And my Wave Runner then attacked and destroyed the shield of the opponent's Truthspeaker. Then my Medusa attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Truthspeaker and right after that, my Medusa had to leave the battlefield after getting a shot from the opponent's Mantoid. Then the opponent's Lone Boatman attacked and killed 2 health of my Pirate Captain and then my Pirate Captain attacked and destroyed 1 shield of the opponent's Herbalist and the Herbalist then attacked and killed 1 health of my Sea Monster. Then my Sea Monster got healed itself with 2 health again and attacked and killed the opponent's Truthspeaker for good and the opponent's Herbalist then came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacked at the first position.

There came another new round and my Water Elemental first attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Herbalist and then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed 2 health of my Sea Monster once more. And then my Wave Runner attacked and killed the opponent's Herbalist for good and the opponent's Lone Boatman then came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacked at the first position. Then after the opponent's Mantoid attacked and killed my Pirate Captain for good, my Sea Monster then first healed itself with 2 health again and then attacked and destroyed the opponent's Lone Boatman although I wish there was no shield atm cause in that way, the opponent monster would die for good.

There came another new round where first my Water Elemental attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Lone Boatman, then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed 2 health of my Sea Monster one last time, and then my Wave Runner attacked and killed the opponent's Lone Boatman for good and the opponent's Peacebringer then came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacked at the first position. The opponent's Mantoid attacked my Water Elemental but missed. Then my Sea Monster healed itself with 2 health and then attacked and killed 4 health of the opponent's Peacebringer with a big melee attack and then there came another new round and at first, my Water Elemental attacked and killed the opponent's Peacebringer for good and the opponent's last monster Mantoid came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position which means the victory was mine for sure. The last opponent monster had 6 health at that moment and first, my Wave Runner attacked and killed 2 health out of 6. And then at the finishing line, my Sea Monster once again healed itself with 2 health and attacked the opponent's Mantoid with 4 melee attacks and the opponent team lost the battle after all.

The battle finished in round 5 while my team had 3 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
