Splinterlands Card Review: Nightmare.

Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Nightmare.
NIGHTMstarssup>(COMMON Death Monster)
I was looking for some cool monsters in the market to check out what's new and really cool then I had my eye on t monster with the name "Nightmare". No, the name didn't attract me at the first sight, it's the visual of the monster that is really attracted me. Really? An exploding horse? That's really awesome. I should praise the man behind such ideas of the visuals of such fantastic creatures. Then I bought it and did a battle placing him at the defending position and I won the first battle with this monster.
So... Nightmare is a common dragon monster from the reward edition that the "Blast" ability at the very first level which means... when this monster will attack an opponent monster, it'll blast another attack on the monster adjacent to the target monster and as it's a melee attacker which should be placed at the front so it has a higher chance on attacking opponent monsters and it's "Blast" ability and it has good speed as well with big health in the first level so it's kind of a good package, I just wish that it had a bigger attack ability at the first level. I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 melee attack, 4 speeds & 10 health with the "Blast" ability.

A Brief Info About The Match
The battle mana cap was 25 with the "Standard" ruleset where I used the death splinter for the battle and my opponent used the death splinter against me.
I've used the Nightmare at the front position with some of my favorite monsters from the death splinter where my Nightmare could assist in attacking opponents with its melee attack and its special ability which is the "Blast" and other monsters could assist him on the battlefield.
My Lineup.
I had my Nightmare in level 1, Furious Chicken in level 1, Darkest Mage in level 1, Phantom Soldier in level 1 & Twisted Jester in level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Living Lava in level 1, Goblin Chariot in level 1, Goblin Fireball in level 1, Fire Elemental in level 1 & Serpentine Spy in level 1.
I've used five monsters where one was the Nightmare with "Blast" ability, a chicken without any attacking ability, Two magic monsters with nice power where one had the "Flying" ability, and a ranged attacker with the "Snipe" ability against an opponent with five monsters where the front monster was harder to take down for its shield and big health and all others were so easy to kill. BTW, I don't fear such a lineup when I have my awesome and cool monsters on my team.
Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

No 02: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)
This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.
My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

Nor 03: DARKEST MAGE (EPIC Death Monster)
This seems the Doctor Strange of splinterlands.
I'm very very thankful to Gerber as he delegated me a Darkest Mage in level 6 and then I started using it and got to know its nice features although I'm using this monster in level 1 right now which I own myself.
This magician is so cool that I wish to play every battle with him/her.
My Darkest Mage is in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speed & health and it needs ONLY 2 mana.

No 04: PHANTOM SOLDIER (EPIC Death Monster)
I still remember those days playing battle with death splinter where there was this monster. Then when I added this monster to my deck, I could see its beauty... the beauty in its action. With "flying" ability, this monster is the best fit in the earthquake ruleset and it has so nice powers.
My PHANTOM SOLDIER is in level 1 with 2 magic attacks, 3 speed, 8 health with "Flying" ability, and it needs 8 mana for the battle.

No 05: TWISTED JESTER (RARE Death Monster)
It's my favorite monster in splinterlands which is Twisted Jester.
I'm a big fan of this card from the beginning of my splinterlands journey so I don't need to check on its ability.
Twisted Jester is a good fit for the match for its special abilities and high attack, speed, health.
Oh, I like that clown a lot.
He doesn't talk but he bites, so be careful.
My TWISTED JESTER is in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 3 speed, 4 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

On the battlefield.
For the special ability of my summoner, all melee monsters of my opponent team that had better than 1 melee attack, lost 1 melee attack each. And for the special ability of my opponent's summoner, all monsters of the opponent team got +1 speed each. Then the Fire Elemental of my opponent team, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on my Nightmare and killed 2 health out of 10, and at the same time, my Furious Chicken died for the "Blast" ability of the attacker. Then Goblin Chariot of my opponent team attacked my Nightmare and killed two more health and then the Serpentine Spy of my opponent team attacked and killed 1 health out of 2 of my Darkest Mage. Now it was my Nightmare's turn and attacked the front monster of the opponent team but nothing happened as the opponent monster had the "Shield" ability that saves it from a melee attack. Nothing happened on that monster but the monster adjacent to that monster lost one health because of the "Blast" of my Nightmare.
With others, my Nightmare joined the deads in the next level and it's a shame that he couldn't give the support as I thought he'd do although it's because of the "Shield" ability of the front monster of my opponent team.
Then my Phantom Soldier and Twisted Jester kind of ruled the battlefield. My Phantom Soldier first killed the Living Lava of the opponent monster and then together, they killed the remaining monsters of the opponent team.
The battle got finished in round 4 while my team still had two monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought.
