SC : Splinterlands

The dwarven warrior crept his way towards a long stretch of stone corridor. It had taken him months to find this secret entrance within the dense jungle. A hideout for supporters of the Chaos Legion. He intended to destroy them all and make safe the area once again.

He made his way silently into the corridor, gripping his dagger tightly. But as he trekked further into the darkness, he felt the heat increase. A heavy frown crossed his features. That wasn't right. Why was it getting so hot?

He turned a corner and stifled an alarmed cry. Crisscrossing the corridor were strands of spiderwebs that glowed red hot. He brought his dagger up, but it was too late. A searing pain stabbed into his back.

HOLA Hivians!, welcome to my entry post for weekly battle challenge that hold by @splinterlands, this week's theme for the battle challenge is Lava Spider, you are going to see the battle of lava spider that I used and I will give my opinion about the card. If you haven't played splinterlands yet, you may sign up for free, if you interested in joining this challenge you may join it here

Tell us about your line up

Battle Rule set :

Beofore we play I believe it is important to understand the rule first

• SUPER SNEAK = All melee monsters gain the sneak abilty,since all melee monsters can attak in any position so we better chose high attack melee monsters instead the opportunity card such as serpentine spy
• EQUALIZER = All monsters has the same health as the highest health monsters that were played in the battle. this ruleset strategy is to make sure all your line up were filled by monsters.
• MANA 19 This is considered to be low mana, so avoid use high mana cost monsters

Line Up

• In this battle average person will choose tarsa and so I chose her too as my summoner,
• on the 1st position I use radiated scorcer, because the manacap low I avoid to use living lava,
• the 2nd was ooze, debuff from ooze will be impactful to enemy monsters, put him here to be a second tank,
• the 3rd one is kobold bruiser need this guy attack and low mana requirement.
• 4th was our weekly themed monsters, lava spider well I put him in a middle position to maximize his snipe ability and be additional tanker if enemy chose magic or ranged attack,
• 5th monsters was serpentine spy as a damage dealer I put him on this position because it is safe there, serpentine spy was covered by Antooid Platoon.

My opponent was not using the equilizer rule to gain advantage as you can see he only summon 5 monsters instead.

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK? WHAT WILL YOU TRY DIFFERENTLY NEXT TIME?

FIRST ROUND

• In this round no monsters on each side get killed, but antoid platoon on both sides receive huge amount of damage

SECOND ROUND

• My opponent antoid platoon get killed by my kobold miner after received damage from my serpentine spy
• My Radiated scorcher directly die after taking lots of damage from living lava

ROUND 3

• the first monster to die in this round was my antoid platoon after receiving 1 damage from radiated scorcher and finished by serpentine
• enemy radiated scorcher defeated in the last part of round 3

ROUND 4

• My ooze get killed in this round, good as a tank, killing living lava's time and make my other monsters freely attack enemies' backline

ROUND 6

• In this round my kobold miner sent to death by enemy living lava and put the spider decoy on the ground making my serpentine a free space to attack

CARDS REVIEW

in my opinion low mana card has many advantage in bronze and silver leagues thus having lava spider at max level according to your leagues is a must, at the moment I'm building earth deck and in the next month I plan to build fire deck in bronze and absolutely will max this card to level 3. in many battles I dont really rely on this card but, in terms of using a "decoy" a.k.a second tank I would recommend you to use this card
