I draw Splinterland's Lone Boatman in my own style (ENG/ITA)

Hello everyone, welcome back to this seventh date where I intend to redesign @Splinterlands characters with my own style. This time I wanted to redesign Lone Boatman in my own way, with this drawing I wanted to create a fairly different version but without distorting the original subject. This time I wanted to make some more changes to the character, in fact I removed the boat from the background and made the character more muscular and with many tattoos related to the world of the sea, I wanted to create a real man of the sea. You can see the finished drawing below.

The first thing I did was decide to draw the main subject by the sea with wet feet during sunset. I thought about making the character very muscular, a man forged by the sea, and I also wanted to fill his body with tattoos like a real sailor. First I made a drawing very quickly, to define shapes and spaces. Below you can see the first version of the illustration.

The second step was to clean up the drawing and draw the final subject with clean and essential lines, below you can see the complete drawing.

At this point I colored the illustration, as usual the first step of coloring is with spot colors, this is very important to get an idea of ​​the final coloring. Obviously at this stage the drawing is very flat, with the next step the drawing will improve a lot. Below you can see the colorful illustration with spot colors.

Finally, as a last step I added the tattoos, all marine themed, but above all I added lights and shadows, these two additions allow the drawing to improve a lot, in fact thanks to you you have lights and shadows the illustration acquires three-dimensionality . To make it more complete, I also added a lot of details, such as the effects of the waves and the light of the setting sun. Finally I also added some filters created by me to create an atmosphere that would enhance the sunset. Below I want to show you the image that inspired me and also the coloring without the presence of the drawing line, I was pleased to show it to you because the result is very interesting.

Ciao a tutti, bentrovati, in questo settimo appuntamento dove vado a ridisegnare i personaggi di @Splinterlands con il mio stile . Quasta volta ho voluto ridisegnare a modo mio Lone Boatman, con questo disegno ho voluto creare una versione abbastanza diversa ma senza snaturare il soggetto originale. Questa volta ho voluto realizzare qualche modifica in più al personaggio, infatti ho tolto la barca dallo sfondo e ho reso il personaggio più muscoloso e con molti tatuaggi legati al mondo del mare, ho voluto creare un vero uomo di mare. Qui di seguito puoi vedere il disegno finito.

La prima cosa che ho fatto è stata quella di decidere di disegnare il soggetto principale in riva al mare con i piedi a bagno durante il tramonto. Ho pensato di rendere il personaggio molto muscoloso, un uomo forgiato dal mare, inoltre ho voluto riempire il suo corpo di tatuaggi come un vero marinaio. Come prima cosa ho realizzato un disegno molto velocemente, per definire forme e spazi. Qui di seguito puoi vedere la prima versione della illustrazione.

Il secondo passaggio è stato quello di ripulire il disegno e disegnare il soggetto finale con linee pulite ed essenziali, qui di seguito puoi vedere il disegno completo.

A questo punto ho colorato l'illustrazione, come al solito il primo passaggio della colorazione avviene con tinte piatte, questo è molto importante per avere un'idea della colorazione finale. Ovviamente in questa fase il disegno è molto piatto, con il successivo passaggio il disegno migliorerà moltissimo. Qui di seguito puoi vedere l'illustrazione colorata con tinte piatte.

Infine come ultimo passaggio ho aggiunto i tatuaggi, tutti a tema marino, ma cosa più importante ho aggiunto luci ed ombre, questi due aggiunte permetto al disegno di migliorare molto, infatti grazie hai colpi di luce e le zone d'ombra l'illustrazione acquista tridimensionalità. Per rendere il tutto più completo ho anche aggiunto molti particolari, come gli effetti delle onde e la luce del sole che tramonta. Infine ho anche aggiunto dei filtri creati da me per creare una atmosfera che valorizzasse il tramonto. Qui di seguito voglio mostrarti l'immagine a cui mi sono ispirato e anche la colorazione senza la presenza della linea del disegno, avevo piacere di mostrarvelo perchè il risultato è molto interessante.
