RE: Crypto Wallets On Entertainment Systems?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

The movie theater company 'AMC' offer 'digital collectibles' to fans who obtain them through completing steps and stores it in their phone app or gives it to them on a platform. Digital collectibles given out by major brands that can be utilized by the holders would be the only way I can see people allowing big companies to hold their 'assets'. Otherwise it's just throwing 'goods' into a company for storage instead of a bank.

If they offered their companies as a 'DAO' for their costumers to have some control over certain projects then it would be a different story.

It'll be interesting to see how these brands try to enter the Web3/Blockchain space without getting torn apart by the masses with all the negative connotations now associated with 'NFT', 'Cryptocurrency', and other terms.

Thanks for sharing your findings! Very interesting to read.
